How do I get 40 FPS in Avowed?

What changed from Avowed’s original console target?

Obsidian’s Patch 2.1 notes, published March 25, 2026, mention a fix affecting conversation-animation presentation in Xbox Series X Performance mode. This confirms the mode is still referenced in the patch notes, but the note is not a comprehensive performance review and does not verify frame pacing in the current build.
