AYANEO’s Pocket AIR Mini Indiegogo campaign was reported as planned for October 14, 2025—not as an upcoming launch. AYANEO later reported stock of multiple color variants and opened pre-orders for a separate IGS limited edition in May 2026. The handheld is an entry-level Android device built around a 4:3 screen, and the prices reported for its 2025 campaign are historical, not current checkout prices.
When was the AYANEO Pocket AIR Mini Indiegogo campaign planned?
AYANEO announced the Pocket AIR Mini on September 18, 2025. Technetbook subsequently reported that its Indiegogo campaign was planned to begin on October 14, 2025, at 8 a.m. Eastern, with limited and early-bird tiers. That was a reported plan; the available campaign-page information does not establish that it actually opened at that time. AYANEO’s announcement and Technetbook’s October 2025 report provide the dated context.
What are the Pocket AIR Mini’s specifications?
AYANEO describes it as an entry-level Android retro gaming handheld. Its announced hardware is:
- Display: 4.2-inch, 4:3 screen with 1280 × 960 resolution.
- Processor and graphics: MediaTek Helio G90T octa-core processor and Mali-G76 GPU.
- Controls: Hall-effect analog sticks and triggers.
- Cooling: Active cooling.
- Battery: 4500mAh.
- Connections and expansion: USB-C, 3.5mm audio jack, microSD slot, Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.0.
- Software: AYASpace and AYAHome.
The 4:3 resolution is suited to displaying content in that aspect ratio, but specifications alone do not establish emulator compatibility, frame rates or performance in particular games. AYANEO lists microSD expansion but does not establish a specific compatible card model or capacity in its 2025 announcement.

How much did the Pocket AIR Mini cost?
Technetbook reported these 2025 Indiegogo campaign price tiers. They are historical reported prices, not a statement of what a buyer will pay now.
| Configuration | Reported limited offer | Reported early bird | Reported retail |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2GB + 32GB | $69.99 | $74.99 | $89.99 |
| 3GB + 64GB | $79.99 | $84.99 | $99.99 |
On April 8, 2026, AYANEO announced that official prices for all Pocket AIR Mini versions would increase by 100 yuan starting April 9, attributing the change to higher memory prices and component costs. That yuan increase is not a revised global dollar price. AYANEO’s price notice does not make the 2025 campaign tiers current prices.

Is the Pocket AIR Mini available to buy?
AYANEO’s May 21, 2026 update said multiple Pocket AIR Mini color variants were in stock and that pre-orders were open for an IGS limited edition. The official Pocket AIR Mini product page shows an order prompt, but stock and checkout terms can change. Check the selected configuration and live checkout for regional availability, shipping, taxes and final price.
The IGS edition is a distinct version, not simply another name for every base Pocket AIR Mini. AYANEO says it retains the core design and adds officially licensed IGS arcade content, a self-developed emulator and preloaded licensed games. Its May 2026 announcement listed pre-order prices of $129.99 for 2GB + 32GB and $139.99 for 3GB + 64GB. Those figures apply to the limited edition and should not be conflated with the earlier campaign tiers or treated as a universal current price. See AYANEO’s IGS and stock update.
