Agar Azure VM par OBS se YouTube stream baar-baar disconnect ho rahi hai, pehle pata lagayein ki dikkat network, video rendering, encoding ya Azure ke outbound route mein hai. OBS ke Stats, OBS log, YouTube Live Control Room ka stream-health message aur Azure ke effective outbound rules ko isi kram mein check karein. Reconnect hona apne aap mein root cause nahi batata.
Pehle disconnect ka type pehchanein
Settings badalne se pehle OBS mein View > Stats kholen aur disconnect ya stream interruption ke dauran counters dekhein. OBS ke mutabik dropped frames aam taur par remote ingest server tak asthir connection ya set bitrate ko lagataar sustain na kar paane se hote hain; ise zaroori nahi ki OBS ki kharabi samjha jaye. Rendering aur encoding lag alag performance samasyaein hain. OBS ki stream connection troubleshooting guide aur encoding performance guide in antar ko samjhati hain.

Ek hi baar mein kai settings na badlein. Pehle counters ka baseline note karein aur disconnect dobara hone par Help > Log Files > Upload Current Log File se log upload karein, ya log file save karke timestamp note karein. OBS log ko public jagah share karne se pehle credentials aur stream key ki jaanch karein.
YouTube Live Control Room aur encoder settings jaanchein
YouTube Studio mein Create > Go live kholkar Live Control Room ke stream-health message dekhein. Confirm karein ki YouTube encoder ka signal receive kar raha hai ya nahi aur health warning kis cheez ki taraf ishara kar rahi hai. YouTube ki live encoder settings, bitrates aur resolutions guidance codec, resolution aur frame rate ke hisab se recommended ranges deti hai; ek hi bitrate sab streams ke liye sahi nahi hota.

- Current configuration record karein: OBS ke Settings > Output mein output mode aur video bitrate note karein. Settings > Video mein base canvas, output resolution aur common FPS value note karein. Settings > Stream mein platform/service aur server selection dekhein; stream key ko kabhi log ya screenshot mein expose na karein.
- Apne codec ke mutabik YouTube recommendation milayein: YouTube ki current table mein wahi codec, output resolution aur frame rate chunen jo OBS mein configured hai. Bitrate ko us combination ki guidance ke andar rakhein.
- Conservative test karein: Agar OBS Stats mein network dropped frames badh rahe hain, bitrate ko ek chhote, record kiye gaye kadam se kam karke representative test chalayein. Agar drops rukte hain to uplink capacity ya uski stability sambhavit factor hai; isse Azure route ka proof nahi milta.
- Actual content ke saath test karein: YouTube salah deta hai ki event se pehle audio aur video movement ko asli broadcast jaisa rakhkar test karein aur stream health monitor karein. Static screen par pass hua test movement, audio ya bitrate peaks wale stream ko guarantee nahi karta.
YouTube ka stream-health message aur OBS ka dropped-frame counter alag jagah ki evidence hain: dono ko timestamp ke saath note karna diagnosis ko behtar banata hai.
Azure VM ka outbound internet path jaanchein
Stream YouTube tak Azure VM ke network path se jaati hai. NSG outbound rules, user-defined route (UDR), firewall ya virtual appliance ke through forced traffic, aur configured egress method dekhein. Azure portal mein VM ke NIC ya subnet ki effective security rules aur effective routes inspect karein; route/NSG ki tabdeeli se pehle network administrator ke saath expected path confirm karein. Microsoft ki NSG misconfiguration troubleshooting guide outbound filtering samajhne mein madad karti hai.

- Effective outbound security rules: dekhein ki internet-bound traffic ko koi explicit deny rule block to nahi kar raha. Saare outbound ports kholna ya NSG hata dena diagnosis nahi hai; sirf required traffic aur approved policy ke hisab se change karein.
- Effective routes aur UDR: jaanchein ki default route expected internet egress ki taraf ja rahi hai, ya firewall/virtual appliance/VPN route traffic ko kisi aur path par bhej rahi hai. Agar traffic appliance se guzarta hai, uski policy aur logs bhi verify karein.
- Configured egress: subnet ke liye jo outbound design chuna gaya hai, uske actual resources, association aur route ko verify karein. NAT Gateway ek mumkin egress design hai, disconnect ka automatic ilaaj nahi.
Agar VM NAT Gateway ke zariye internet par jaati hai, Microsoft ke mutabik NAT Gateway ko public IP ya public IP prefix aur subnet association chahiye. NSG rule ya route outbound traffic rok sakta hai. Configuration aur failure isolation ke liye Microsoft ki NAT Gateway troubleshooting dekhein; route precedence aur NAT ka role NAT Gateway overview mein diya gaya hai.
Naye Azure virtual networks ke outbound access ka caveat
Microsoft ki outbound egress guidance ke mutabik, 31 March 2026 ke baad release hue API versions se banaye gaye virtual networks private subnet default ke saath aate hain, jahan automatic outbound access nahi hota. Is specific badlav se existing VNets prabhavit nahi hote. Sirf VM ki tareekh dekhkar nateeja na nikalein: actual VNet deployment/API version aur uske egress design ko verify karein. Azure outbound internet access guidance dekhein.

VPN ya security software ko sirf evidence par test karein
OBS VPN aur security software ko connection interference ke mumkin karanon mein ginta hai. Lekin cloud VM mein unhe bina soche disable na karein. Agar logs ya network path inki taraf ishara kare, administrator ki manzoori se ek temporary, controlled test karein, phir protection aur original configuration turant restore karein. Har test mein ek hi cheez badlein, warna pata nahi chalega ki kis badlav se farq pada.

- Disconnect ka exact timestamp aur timezone.

- VM region, size aur operating system.
- Redacted network path: NIC/subnet, effective NSG rules, route/UDR, NAT Gateway ya firewall/virtual appliance; secrets aur public credentials hata kar.
- OBS codec, resolution, frame rate aur bitrate, saath mein batayein ki test ke dauran kya badla tha.
Stream key, Azure credentials, access tokens ya unredacted configuration public issue tracker ya chat mein na daalein.
