Balatro led the 2025 Canadian Game Awards with five wins, including Game of the Year, while Dragon Age: The Veilguard won three awards for narrative, music and audio design. The fifth edition took place on February 16, 2025, at TIFF Lightbox in Toronto.
Which games won at the Canadian Game Awards?

What awards did Dragon Age: The Veilguard win?
BioWare’s Dragon Age: The Veilguard won Best Narrative, Best Score/Soundtrack and Best Audio Design. These three wins recognize distinct narrative and audio disciplines; they are not interchangeable with the overall Game of the Year or studio and debut awards won by Balatro.

No. The Canadian Game Awards homepage currently lists its sixth edition for May 21, 2026, at John Bassett Theatre in Toronto. That is a separate event from the fifth edition and its 2025 results. The homepage also identifies Balatro as the 2025 Game of the Year in its previous-winners section.
