A report published October 5, 2026 says Larian approved the Cheater’s Menu mod for Baldur’s Gate 3 on PS5 and Xbox consoles. The report says a spell opens a menu with ten tabs and more than 300 options, ranging from party healing to item spawning. That approval, option count and feature list are claims in the report; Larian’s official pages explain how console mods work but do not independently confirm this specific listing.
What the reported Cheater’s Menu does
According to Wukeer’s October 5, 2026 report, the mod adds a spell to the hotbar. Casting it opens a menu said to contain ten tabs and over 300 options. The count is the report’s claim, not a figure independently verified by Larian.
The report lists options that can change the game in several ways:
- Party and character management: heal the party and respec characters for free.
- Items and progression: spawn items, change experience or levels, and unlock waypoints.
- Combat and challenge: adjust dice rolls, activate god mode, change enemy difficulty, or take a long rest in place.
These examples are reported features, not results of firsthand testing. The reported controls span both convenience and challenge: some reduce friction or make the party stronger, while changing enemy difficulty can be used to raise or lower the challenge.

How the report says to access it
Wukeer’s suggested setup is to find the mod through the in-game Mod Manager, enable it, load a new or existing save, then cast its spell from the hotbar. The live in-game listing and these steps were not independently checked, so treat them as the report’s guidance rather than verified instructions for every console build.
How console mods work in Baldur’s Gate 3
Larian introduced an in-game Mod Manager with Patch 7. Its console route is curated: mods made with Larian’s Toolkit and passing internal testing may be eligible for console and Mac release through the in-game browser. PlayStation announced Patch 7 for PS5 on October 1, 2024, including the Mod Manager, in its official update post. That confirms the general PS5 mod system, not this particular mod. The report names PS5 and Xbox for Cheater’s Menu, but the specific mod’s current live listing and approval status have not been independently confirmed.

Larian’s console-only hotfix on November 21, 2024 introduced a 100-mod limit after players reported slow loading and crashes with large mod collections. Larian advised players to install mods they expect to keep using; the limit is general console guidance, not evidence that Cheater’s Menu itself causes instability.
