Bam Adebayo was expected to play when Miami opened its preseason against Toronto on Saturday, October 3, 2026. The status report was published Friday and does not confirm that he ultimately appeared.
What was Adebayo’s reported status?
On October 2, CBS Sports’ RotoWire Staff reported: “Adebayo is expected to play in Saturday’s preseason opener against Toronto, per Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel.” That is a pregame expectation, not confirmation that Adebayo played or an indication of how many minutes he would get.
