Beenox reportedly removed or replaced a social-media banner that featured unfamiliar Crash kart artwork, prompting speculation about a new Crash Team Racing. The image has not been confirmed as a tease for a new game, and its removal does not establish that it was a leak or cover-up.
What was in Beenox’s banner?
A Crash fan-news report dated November 5, 2025 said Beenox had updated its social banner with artwork related to games the studio had worked on. In the upper-left area, the banner reportedly showed a Crash design associated with Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time riding a kart. The report was updated November 12 to say the banner had been taken down. Crashy News’ report did not claim the art confirmed a new project.
A November 6 report from Power Up Gaming also described a fresh Crash render in Beenox’s X banner and said it was later removed and replaced by Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 promotional art. It relayed an artist’s claim that the render had not been released before and that the kart design had not previously been seen with that version of Crash. These are media reports about the image, not an explanation from Beenox.
Does the artwork confirm a new Crash Team Racing?
No. The reports identify unusual artwork and a change to the banner, but do not establish what the image was made for. It could prompt the question “Is this a new CTR game?”; it cannot answer it. Nintendo Life also presented the story as a rumor, not an announcement, in its November 2025 coverage.

The timing of the banner’s removal is not proof that the image was an accidental leak, nor does it reveal why Beenox changed it.
What Beenox’s past work establishes
Beenox did develop Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled, which Activision said launched on June 21, 2019. The game was published by Activision. In its official launch announcement, then Beenox co-studio head Thomas Wilson said: “The love that fans have for Crash Team Racing goes beyond just a fun kart racing game, and we’re excited to finally show fans what we’ve been working on to celebrate its 20th anniversary.”
Activision’s 2019 post-launch announcement described a Grand Prix and planned additions including karts and characters from Crash Nitro Kart, as well as content inspired by Crash Tag Team Racing. That history helps explain why new kart artwork attracts attention, but it is not evidence that another installment is in development.
