If you need built-in registration, attendee follow-up, or a larger audience cap, compare dedicated webinar plans such as WebinarJam. Riverside bundles creator recording with webinar tools, but its pricing page warns that it may show staging information and displays conflicting Webinar price details. Prices and plan limits below are vendor-published figures checked on October 3, 2026; confirm current terms before buying.
Which webinar platform is best for your YouTube channel?
Choose according to the job you need done. A production studio helps you present a polished stream, bring in guests, add overlays, and send the show to YouTube or other destinations. A webinar platform adds event features such as registration, reminders, polls, Q&A, attendee reports, or follow-up. Some products combine both, but the cheapest streaming plan is not necessarily the cheapest complete workflow.
- Best low-cost production starting point: StreamYard. Its official page lists a free plan and paid plans with multistreaming; Advanced adds On-Air webinars for up to 100 viewers.
- Best for registration-led events with published attendance tiers: WebinarJam. Its plans list YouTube broadcasting, registration features, attendee caps, and maximum session lengths.
- Best to consider when recording and repurposing matter alongside webinars: Riverside. Its Grow plan lists 1080p live streaming and multistreaming; Webinar adds registration and interaction features.
- Worth considering for a familiar webinar format and production options: Zoom Webinars. Its page describes attendee engagement and a Webinars Plus tier with prerecorded sessions presented as live and backstage production tools.
For a different use case—keeping an uploaded video playing as a 24/7 YouTube live stream rather than hosting a scheduled webinar—StreamNeo is the cloud-based option to consider first: it loops uploaded videos continuously, up to 4K 60fps at one flat price per slot, and the first day is free.

How to choose the right plan
1. Decide whether YouTube is the event or one destination
If viewers will watch on YouTube and you mainly need production tools, guests, overlays, and possibly other streaming destinations, a live-production studio may be enough. StreamYard lists multistreaming on Core; Advanced adds On-Air webinars. WebinarJam also lists broadcasts to YouTube as part of its webinar plans.
2. Decide whether you need registration and follow-up
Basic multistreaming is not the same as collecting registrations, sending reminders, delivering a replay, or building an attendee list. If those are important, compare the webinar features on the specific tier you would buy. StreamYard’s On-Air workflow describes registration and replay; WebinarJam lists registration features; Riverside’s Webinar tier lists registration and follow-up tools.

- 5-in-1 USB-C Hub: Experience comprehensive connectivity featuring a Power Delivery input, two USB-A 2.0 ports, a USB-A 3.0 port, and an HDMI port. (Note: The USB-C power delivery input port is only for connecting an external wall charger to power your laptop and cannot power peripheral devices.)

Note: This device is not compatible with Linux.
- What You Get: Anker USB-C Hub (5-in-1, 4K HDMI), welcome guide, 18-month warranty, and our friendly customer service.
3. Match attendee capacity and session length to the event
Estimate realistic attendance and how long the session will run, then check both the attendee cap and any duration limit. WebinarJam publishes capacities from 100 to 5,000 attendees and maximum durations from one to four hours by tier. StreamYard Advanced lists up to 100 On-Air viewers, while Riverside Webinar lists up to 100 registrants. Viewer and registrant counts are different measures; do not treat them as interchangeable.
4. Include recording, replay, and repurposing in the comparison
If you plan to edit clips or reuse a recording, check what the plan includes and whether you will need a separate editor or storage. Riverside emphasizes recording and repurposing, StreamYard Core lists recordings and storage, and Zoom Webinars Plus lists recording-to-content tools. Compare the actual limits on the plan page rather than assuming that a feature name means unlimited use.

- Flawless 4K@60Hz Video with HDMI: Delivers exceptional clarity and smoothness with its 4K@60Hz HDMI port, making it ideal for high-definition presentations and entertainment. (Note: Only the HDMI port supports video projection; the USB-C port is for data transfer only.)

- Fast and Reliable 85W Charging: Offers high-capacity, speedy charging for laptops up to 85W, so you spend less time tethered to an outlet and more time being productive.
- What You Get: Anker USB-C Hub (7-in-1), welcome guide, 18-month warranty, and our friendly customer service.
5. Compare the whole billing commitment
Compare month-to-month prices with annual-billing equivalents on the same basis. Annual equivalents require an annual commitment; they are not the monthly cancellation price. Review renewal terms and checkout totals, especially where a pricing page flags promotions, custom offers, or staging information.
Using YouTube without a separate webinar platform
If you only need a simple webinar-like event and can accept YouTube’s own viewing experience, you may not need paid webinar software. StreamYard’s vendor guide says a creator can use its free plan to stream to an unlisted YouTube video and use YouTube registration and reminder features, then move to On-Air for native registration and a hosted watch page. This is vendor guidance, so check the current YouTube and StreamYard workflows and feature availability before planning an event around it. See StreamYard’s webinar platform guide.

Or let it run in the cloud
A webinar is a scheduled event with an audience; a 24/7 loop is a different format. If you want a YouTube channel to keep an uploaded recording or playlist live continuously, StreamNeo runs the stream from the cloud: upload your video or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live. Your computer and home connection do not need to stay on. Each slot includes one always-on YouTube stream, 10 GB of storage per slot pooled across active slots, 24/7 looping and playlists, and automatic recovery if YouTube drops the stream. Videos stream as uploaded, up to 4K 60fps, at one flat price per slot. The first day is free with no card; the monthly option is $9.99 per month. Start your free day on StreamNeo.
Common buying mistakes
- Choosing by headline price alone: check whether the plan includes the registration, follow-up, or production feature you actually need.
- Confusing annual equivalents with monthly billing: confirm the billing cadence and total commitment at checkout.
- Ignoring event caps: check both attendee capacity and maximum session duration against your expected audience and run of show.
- Assuming every platform’s audience figure means the same thing: for example, Riverside lists registrants while StreamYard lists On-Air viewers.
- Quoting an unsettled Riverside Webinar price: its page warns about staging data and shows conflicting figures; verify the amount directly before purchase.
- Paying for webinar features when you only need a broadcast: if YouTube is the viewing destination and registration is unnecessary, compare a production plan—or YouTube-native options—before buying a dedicated webinar tier.
