The February 2026 Basketball Zero ranking from Jeux Video Plus puts Psychic, Cyber, Symbiote, Spider, Basketball God, Emperor, Ace, Tatlis, Chrollo and Perfection in S+. It is a dated editorial snapshot—not an official game ranking or a measured win-rate table—and later lists disagree.
February 2026 tier list
Jeux Video Plus published its list on February 11, 2026, with an editor note saying it was updated February 1, 2026. The following placements are that publisher’s judgment of the meta at that time.

The counts are simply the number of styles in each editorial tier, not performance statistics.
How to read the ranking
It describes a February meta
The article says aggressive scoring was especially valuable, while playmaking-focused styles were less optimal. It also says every style can remain viable in skilled hands. Treat “S+” as “a strong choice for the conditions the author evaluated,” not as a guarantee that it will win every matchup.

The explanations are qualitative
No independent win rates, laboratory tests or official balance notes were identified to validate the placements. The rationales below therefore report the publisher’s descriptions rather than objective measurements.
Why the S+ styles lead the list
Psychic, Cyber, Symbiote and Spider
Jeux Video Plus describes these four newer styles as scoring-oriented, highlighting their dodge and dunk abilities. That profile fits the article’s aggressive-scoring view of the February meta.
Basketball God
The source credits Basketball God with a broad package of control, dunking and dribbling tools, making it less dependent on one isolated scoring route.

Emperor is characterized as an offensive playmaker that can also recover the ball effectively. That combination gives it value when a possession does not end in an immediate score.
Ace, Tatlis, Chrollo and Perfection
These four styles complete the publisher’s S+ group. The source does not provide independently measured statistics for separating them from the other S+ entries, so the tier is more reliable than any exact internal order.
What the lower tiers mean in practice
S tier
Gold, Lazy Worker, Star, Flash, Copycat and Giant are presented as excellent alternatives just below S+. They may suit players who prefer a particular ability pattern or already have one of these styles equipped; the ranking does not establish that they are universally weaker in every matchup.
A tier
Switcher, Sniper, Jackpot and Phantom are strong but more situational according to the list. Sniper receives a specific explanation: it excels at long-range shooting but has limited strengths outside accuracy.

B tier
Uncle Sam, Playmaker and Clutch occupy the middle. The February article’s warning about a scoring-heavy meta is especially relevant to Playmaker, because it says playmaking-focused styles were comparatively less optimal at that point.
C and D tiers
Lock, Fetch and Quick are placed in C, while Chuck is the sole D-tier style. These labels indicate the publisher’s February preference, not that the styles are unusable; the same article explicitly preserves room for skilled players to succeed with any style.

Tier lists are date-sensitive editorial opinions. A Basketball Zero Wiki list marked updated March 2026 says it accounts for ability power, Awakening strength, Zone synergy, patch currency, 2v2 versus 3v3 performance and skill ceiling after The Great Rebalance. It places Chrollo, Honored Style, Ordinary and Rubberman in S+, while Spider, Basketball God, Copycat, Switcher, Gold, Perfection, Luka Dončić, Lazy Worker and Genius appear in S. That is materially different from the February table.
Pro Game Guides’ June 7, 2026 list places Emperor, Tatlis, Chrollo, Basketball God, Honored One, Curse King, Goat, Spider, Rubberman, Vampire and Judgement in S. Its later date and different roster show why you should not merge the lists into a supposed consensus.

A practical way to choose a style
- Start with your role. If you create your own shots, begin with the February S+ and S scoring-oriented options. If you prefer passing or possession control, compare the playmaking and recovery descriptions rather than selecting by letter alone.
- Check your preferred mode. Later guides explicitly distinguish 2v2 and 3v3 value; the February article does not publish separate mode grades, so its tiers should not be treated as mode-specific advice.
- Evaluate the full kit. Compare scoring pressure, playmaking, defense or ball recovery, Awakening value and Zone synergy when those details are available. The February source discusses scoring and playmaking, but it does not document a complete scoring rubric.
- Account for availability. A styles guide describes styles as having abilities, Awakening moves and paired Zones, and says styles are acquired through spins. It describes Lucky Spins as obtainable through codes or Robux and says Limited styles are tied to event windows. These mechanics are guide-reported and may change; check the current game interface before spending resources.
- Recheck after patches. Because March and June 2026 lists already diverge from the February snapshot, revisit the date and source whenever a balance update or rebalance changes the game.
Bottom line on the February list
If you want to follow the exact February 2026 recommendation, choose one of the ten S+ styles—Psychic, Cyber, Symbiote, Spider, Basketball God, Emperor, Ace, Tatlis, Chrollo or Perfection—with the first four emphasized for aggressive scoring. Use the tier as a starting point, then match the style to your role, mode and available mechanics. It is a dated third-party opinion, not an official ranking or proof of superior win rates.
