For a modest prerecorded YouTube Live loop that you want to encode locally, the Beelink Mini S12 Pro with an Intel N100 is a budget candidate to investigate—not a proven 24/7 streaming appliance or a verified best buy in India. Its manual lists Gigabit Ethernet and BIOS auto-power-on, but there is no verified India price or warranty here and no continuous-encoding test. If your stream is made from uploaded videos or a playlist rather than a live camera or gameplay feed, compare the full cost and upkeep of a local PC with a cloud option before buying.
First decide what “always-on” means for your stream
A prerecorded loop, a live camera, gameplay and a multi-source show put different demands on a mini PC. A mini PC is most relevant when you need to encode or produce the stream locally—for example, to capture a camera or game, mix inputs, or control an encoder on your own hardware. A prerecorded video or playlist may not need a home computer running around the clock.
YouTube describes an encoder as software or hardware that converts video into a digital format for streaming. If you have not enabled YouTube Live before, initial enablement can take up to 24 hours, so do that before a planned launch: YouTube’s live-streaming setup guidance.
What the Beelink Mini S12 Pro establishes—and what it does not
The Mini S12 Pro manual lists an Intel N100 processor with four cores and four threads, turbo up to 3.4 GHz, one DDR4 SO-DIMM slot, M.2 and 2.5-inch storage support, Gigabit LAN, Wi-Fi 6, two HDMI ports, and BIOS options including Auto Power On and Wake-on-LAN. It also states a 0–40°C working-temperature range and a one-year warranty. These are manual specifications, not evidence of continuous streaming stability or local Indian warranty support.

#1 Best Overall
Those listed features make it a reasonable model to investigate for a simple prerecorded 720p or 1080p stream if the exact India-market configuration is attractively priced. They do not prove that the system can sustain your chosen encode, run cool and quiet for long sessions, recover cleanly after a failure, or use little power at the wall. The available evidence also does not establish current India stock, price, seller quality or warranty terms. Check those details on the exact listing and with the seller before purchase.
Do not treat every N100 or N150 listing as equivalent
Processor family names do not tell you enough about memory configuration, storage, cooling, ports or seller support. A TechRadar review of the Beelink ME mini, for example, reports an N150 processor, 12 GB non-expandable memory, 6 W base power and limited external ports, and criticizes its conventional-PC performance. Its US price and availability do not establish an India deal; its base-power figure is not a wall-power measurement during encoding. See the TechRadar Beelink ME mini review for that model-specific assessment.

Compare the practical options
| Option | Best suited to | Evidence-based trade-off | Verify before relying on it |
|---|---|---|---|
| StreamNeo cloud service | Uploaded videos or playlists that do not need local live capture | StreamNeo says it can keep a YouTube stream running from the cloud, without a home computer staying on; the service description and current terms should be checked directly. | Current service details, India availability, content limits, pricing, terms and recovery behaviour. |
| Local N100 mini PC, such as the Beelink Mini S12 Pro | A buyer who needs local encoding or control for a prerecorded loop or simple production | The manual lists Gigabit LAN and auto-power-on; no continuous-stream test establishes round-the-clock reliability. | India price, exact RAM and SSD bundle, seller, local warranty, wall power, temperatures, reboot recovery and stream stability. |
| Another N100/N150 mini PC | Buyers comparing the same general low-power processor class | Category specifications do not establish system-level performance; configurations and support can vary substantially. | Exact model, memory configuration, cooling, storage, network ports, support and relevant test results. |
For two local machines, compare total India purchase cost and warranty first, then memory and storage, wired networking, restart and recovery behaviour, cooling and noise, and power measured under the intended encode workload. No apples-to-apples India price or power comparison is established here, so there is not enough evidence to rank a current India-market winner.
Set YouTube’s encoder and network settings for the actual stream
YouTube’s current encoder guidance supports RTMP/RTMPS and video codecs H.264, H.265 (HEVC) or AV1, with frame rates up to 60 fps. It recommends constant bitrate (CBR) encoding and a two-second keyframe frequency; keyframes must not be more than four seconds apart. Its recommended bitrate changes with codec, resolution and frame rate, so select a combination the complete system can sustain rather than assuming an N100—or your internet plan—will handle any target.

| YouTube example setting | Recommended bitrate |
|---|---|
| H.264, 1080p at 30 fps | 10 Mbps |
| H.264, 720p at 30 fps | 4 Mbps |
| AV1 or H.265, 1080p at 30 fps | 6 Mbps |
| AV1 or H.265, 720p at 30 fps | 3 Mbps |

Measure upload capacity and leave room for variation
YouTube advises testing upload speed, leaving bandwidth headroom and using a reliable connection. Its streaming tips recommend about 20% additional upload capacity beyond the stream’s combined bitrate. For example, a stream using a 10 Mbps video bitrate needs more than 10 Mbps available upload capacity; leave the recommended headroom, and account for other devices sharing the connection. A speed test is a snapshot, not proof that the connection will remain stable for a long stream. See YouTube’s streaming tips.

The Mini S12 Pro manual lists Gigabit LAN, so wired Ethernet is an option. Whether it helps in practice depends on the router, cable and ISP connection at the stream location. Use a representative upload test and watch YouTube’s stream health during a test broadcast.
Buy and validate a local setup in stages
- Choose the source first. Decide whether you are sending prerecorded media, a camera, gameplay or a multi-input production. This determines whether local capture and encoding are needed.
- Inspect the exact India listing. Confirm processor, RAM, SSD, Ethernet, power adapter, operating system, return terms and the party responsible for warranty service in India. Do not assume a global warranty applies locally.
- Calculate the full purchase risk. For used or imported hardware, include landed cost and the practical cost of limited support. Current retailer price and import terms are not established here.
- Prepare the connection and power. Prefer Ethernet where practical and measure upload capacity where the stream will run. If short power interruptions are common, consider a UPS sized for both the PC and network equipment; it cannot prevent an ISP outage or help if its runtime is insufficient.
- Configure YouTube-compatible output. Set codec, resolution, frame rate, CBR bitrate and keyframe interval for the chosen stream. Test with representative motion and audio, then check stream health.
- Test failure and recovery before depending on it. Run the intended workload for an extended period and test recovery after a controlled restart and network interruption. No such endurance or recovery test is established for the Mini S12 Pro here. Provide ventilation and keep the equipment within the manual’s stated operating range.
Or let it run in the cloud
If you are looping uploaded videos or a playlist rather than sending a live camera or gameplay feed, StreamNeo is the #1 option to try first: it runs the YouTube stream from the cloud, supports uploaded quality up to 4K 60fps at one flat price per slot, and offers a first day free. Upload your video or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live. Your computer and home connection do not have to stay on; StreamNeo automatically recovers if YouTube drops the stream.
