A free scan shows the junk files, broken settings and background clutter dragging Windows down - then fixes them in one click.Free scan · Windows 10 & 11For a self-managed prerecorded YouTube Live loop in India, compare monthly data allowance and the work your encoder must do—not just the advertised VPS rent. In the small provider sample reviewed on October 3, 2026, HeavenCloud lists the lower entry price in Mumbai, while Endercloud lists more RAM and a stated 2 TB bandwidth allowance. Neither listing establishes sustained streaming performance. If you want to avoid server administration, StreamNeo is the managed alternative to consider first: it loops uploaded videos from the cloud, supports any uploaded quality up to 4K 60fps at one flat price per slot, and offers a free first day.
Which budget VPS options are listed in India?
These are examples from official provider listings accessed October 3, 2026, not independent performance tests or a market-wide ranking. Confirm checkout totals, GST, renewal prices, availability, and the provider’s definitions of bandwidth and “unmetered” before buying.
| Option | Listing details | What to verify |
|---|---|---|
| HeavenCloud Mumbai VPS | ₹390/month; 2 dedicated cores, 2 GB RAM, 15 GB SSD, and a 1 Gbps unmetered network, as advertised. | Ask how “unmetered” is defined and whether the CPU and memory suit your workflow. The listing does not demonstrate sustained upload or stream quality. |
| Endercloud India VPS | ₹999/month; 3 vCore, 8 GB ECC RAM, 50 GB NVMe, and 2 TB bandwidth at 1 Gbps, as advertised. | Compare the stated 2 TB allowance with your calculated traffic, and confirm overage or throttling terms. A 1 Gbps port does not mean that speed is continuously available or that monthly transfer is unlimited. |
HeavenCloud has the lower displayed entry price in this two-provider sample; Endercloud lists more memory and storage plus a finite transfer allowance. That is a comparison of listing details only—not a verdict about reliability, route quality, or which server will keep a particular stream healthy.
How much bandwidth does a 24/7 YouTube stream need?
The video bitrate drives most of the data use. For a stream running continuously, a useful estimate is: GB per 30 days ≈ bitrate in Mbps × 324. This uses decimal gigabytes and 30 days, and excludes audio, protocol overhead, other server traffic, and any provider-specific billing rules. Allow headroom, then confirm how your host measures transfer.
#1 Best Overall
| H.264 output | YouTube-recommended bitrate | Estimated data for 30 days at that bitrate |
|---|---|---|
| 720p30 or 720p60 | 8 Mbps | About 2,592 GB (2.59 TB) |
| 1080p30 | 14 Mbps | About 4,536 GB (4.54 TB) |
| 1080p60 | 17 Mbps | About 5,508 GB (5.51 TB) |
| 1440p60 | 34 Mbps | About 11,016 GB (11.02 TB) |
| 2160p60 | 50 Mbps | About 16,200 GB (16.2 TB) |
The bitrate recommendations are from YouTube’s live encoder guidance, accessed in 2026; they are not VPS performance guarantees. YouTube also advises choosing a quality reliable for the available upload connection and testing that bitrate. These estimates assume the video stream runs at the listed bitrate all month. Audio, protocol overhead, variable output, reconnects, and other traffic change the billable total. At a constant 8 Mbps, for example, a month’s estimated video data already exceeds the 2 TB allowance listed by Endercloud; check the host’s billing policy before relying on that plan.
What workload should the VPS handle?
Relaying an already prepared file
If the recording is already encoded for the resolution, frame rate, codec, and bitrate you intend to send, the VPS can relay it rather than re-encode it. This usually makes the job less compute-intensive than transcoding, but the server still needs enough network transfer, storage or access to the media, and a stable route to YouTube’s ingest.

Encoding or changing the video
Live transcoding, resizing, or changing frame rate adds CPU workload. The provider listings give core and memory figures, but do not establish guaranteed capacity for a specific encoder command or output setting. Do not assume a low-cost VPS can encode 1080p or 4K in real time from its advertised core count alone; test the selected plan with your exact file and settings before depending on it.
What to check before choosing a plan
- Transfer policy: Find the monthly allowance, overage charges, throttling rules, and whether traffic is counted both ways. Treat “unmetered” as a provider claim until its terms explain what it means.
- Output requirements: Choose resolution, frame rate, codec, and bitrate first. Higher bitrates consume more monthly transfer.
- Encoding capacity: Decide whether the server only relays a prepared file or must transcode it. Verify performance with the actual workload; listed resources alone do not certify it.
- Storage and operating system: Check whether the disk can hold your source media and whether your chosen encoder and automation method are compatible with the offered OS.
- Location and route: A Mumbai location may be convenient for an India-based creator, but location alone does not prove the quality of the route to YouTube ingestion. Test the stream health from the chosen server.
- Full cost and support: Check taxes, renewal rates, licensing, storage limits, support scope, and what happens when the transfer allowance is reached.
- Operations ownership: Unless the contract explicitly includes management, expect to configure the encoder, secure the stream key, monitor the process, and arrange recovery after failures.
How to set YouTube encoder output
YouTube’s official guidance lists RTMP and RTMPS, H.264, H.265 (HEVC), and AV1 video codecs, up to 60 fps, and constant bitrate (CBR) encoding. For a compatible encoder, YouTube recommends a two-second keyframe interval and says not to exceed four seconds. YouTube recommends RTMPS and says stream data is encrypted into and through Google’s servers. Use YouTube’s current guidance and the encoder’s compatibility documentation when selecting settings.
Rank #3
- Choose the target output. Set the resolution and frame rate to match the quality you need and the source file supports.
- Set the video bitrate. Use YouTube’s recommendation for the selected H.264 resolution and frame rate as a reference, then ensure the VPS can sustain the output and has enough monthly transfer.
- Set CBR and keyframes. Use constant bitrate and a two-second keyframe interval; do not exceed four seconds, following YouTube’s guidance.
- Use a supported codec and secure protocol. Confirm encoder support for the chosen codec and use RTMPS where supported.
- Test before relying on the loop. Start a test stream, inspect YouTube’s stream health, and watch for dropped frames or unstable bitrate before leaving it unattended.
Keep the VPS stream secure and recoverable
A VPS is self-managed unless you buy a service that explicitly takes over these duties. Treat the YouTube stream key like a password: do not paste it into public scripts, logs, screenshots, or shared repositories; restrict access to the account and server; and rotate the key if it is exposed. Keep a way to detect a stopped encoder and restart it, and test what happens if the VPS reboots or the connection to YouTube drops. A process that starts once is not, by itself, a monitored or recoverable 24/7 service.
A continuous stream also has to comply with YouTube’s rules. Only stream material you have the rights to use, including music and other embedded content; a prerecorded loop does not make copyrighted material permissible. Reused or repetitive content can also affect channel monetization review independently of whether a stream remains online. Review current YouTube live-stream guidance and applicable channel policies before broadcasting.

Or let it run in the cloud
For a YouTube-only prerecorded loop without VPS administration, StreamNeo’s workflow is to upload a recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live. Its site describes cloud playback, so your computer and home connection do not need to stay on; it also advertises automatic recovery if YouTube drops the stream. Uploaded quality is preserved up to 4K 60fps for one flat price per slot, rather than a quality tier. These are StreamNeo’s own product claims, not independent performance findings.
The first day is free with no card (one free day per account). The monthly plan is $9.99 per month. India customers can pay by UPI or card. See StreamNeo for the service and current plan details, or start the free first day.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can a 2 TB VPS allowance cover a continuous 720p YouTube stream?
At YouTube’s recommended 8 Mbps H.264 bitrate, the estimated video data alone is about 2.59 TB over 30 days, before audio and overhead.
Does the 1 Gbps network shown on a VPS listing mean unlimited bandwidth?
No. Port speed and monthly transfer allowance are different. Check the provider’s transfer terms and any overage or throttling policy.
