Stellar Blade Complete Edition is listed for Nintendo Switch 2, but the official Switch 2 listing reviewed here does not document the game’s combat or accessibility settings. Nintendo’s system-level accessibility tools are available to consider; the PS5 edition’s settings are useful comparison context, not confirmation of what the Switch 2 version will include.
What is confirmed for the Switch 2 version?
Nintendo UK lists Stellar Blade Complete Edition for Switch 2 with a release date of November 5, 2026. As of October 7, 2026, that date is still in the future. The listing does not provide an in-game settings menu or verified recommended values, so there is not yet a reliable basis for naming the best Switch 2 combat settings or giving menu paths. Which Switch 2 system accessibility options can help?
Nintendo documents the following system-level accessibility options for Switch 2. They apply to the console interface and controller configuration; they do not establish that the game has equivalent in-game features. Nintendo’s Switch 2 accessibility information describes these options:
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems#1 Best Overall
- Engage in blistering combat, unleashing graceful yet brutal attacking combos.
- Explore a stunning post-apocalyptic world bursting with danger and intrigue
- Unravel a tale of human fate, filled with mature themes and stunning revelations
- Text size and bold text: Adjust system text for easier reading.
- Button mapping: Remap buttons for each controller, which may help tailor controls without buying a separate controller.
- Display colors: Choose grayscale, inverted colors, or normal colors.
- High contrast: Enable high contrast for the HOME Menu or system settings.
- Screen zoom: Enlarge parts of the screen.
- Mono audio: Use mono sound output.
- Text-to-speech: Have on-screen text read aloud in the HOME Menu and system settings.
Nintendo scopes text-to-speech to the HOME Menu and system settings. The cited documentation does not say that it reads Stellar Blade dialogue, subtitles, or other game text. Likewise, system text and contrast options should not be mistaken for an in-game subtitle, visual-comfort, or high-contrast mode.
What does the PS5 version offer? Use it only as a comparison
PlayStation describes the PS5 edition as having two difficulty settings and emphasizes learning enemy attack patterns, then responding with precise counters. Its description says combat involves deliberate attacks, defence, and evasion. This gives a sense of the PS5 version’s combat approach, but does not confirm the Switch 2 edition’s difficulty choices or combat assists. PlayStation’s PS5 game page.

- Subtitles.
- Adjustable stick sensitivity and inversion.
- Options to play without rapid button presses.

How to choose settings once the Switch 2 options are documented
When the released build or a current official manual confirms the available settings, prioritize options according to the specific challenge you want to address:
- Combat difficulty and assists: Check the game’s actual difficulty choices and any combat aids before choosing a starting level. Do not assume the PS5 version’s two difficulty settings are present.
- QTEs and repeated inputs: Look for options that reduce rapid presses or simplify timed prompts if those demands are a barrier. The PS5 catalog lists such features, but Switch 2 availability is not established.
- Control demands: Check in-game remapping, stick sensitivity, and inversion. If needed, Nintendo’s system button mapping is a documented console-level option.
- Readability and visual comfort: Verify whether the game itself offers subtitle, contrast, or visual-comfort controls; console display options do not prove in-game support.
- Audio and subtitles: Confirm the game’s own subtitle and audio settings. Nintendo documents system mono audio, but not game-specific subtitle or dialogue-reading support.
Because the official Switch 2 listing does not enumerate these settings, exact menu locations and recommended values cannot be verified from it. Check the released game’s menus or a current official manual before relying on a particular option.
