FINAL FANTASY VII REVELATION
Square Enix has announced FINAL FANTASY VII REVELATION for April 8, 2027, with physical and digital releases. The announced platforms are PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series X|S, and PC through Steam, the Epic Games Store, and Xbox on PC. Its stated multi-platform launch and physical edition make it one to follow if you are tracking major releases across consoles and PC. Square Enix’s announcement has the current details.
Fable
Xbox Wire lists Fable for February 23, 2027, with Premium Edition early access beginning February 18. The announced access options are Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC, cloud, and Game Pass; Xbox also says the game supports Play Anywhere. Those are platform and access details, not evidence of how the finished game will review. Xbox Wire’s announcement provides the current plan.

Metro 2039
Metro 2039 is announced for February 4, 2027. PlayStation Blog describes ray tracing on PS5 and PS5 Pro and a Performance Mode targeting 60fps. How to read a 2027 release list
A scheduled release is not a guarantee that a game will ship on that date in every region. Platform announcements also differ in what they establish: the details above include format for FINAL FANTASY VII REVELATION and subscription access for Fable, but those details are not given for every title here. Confirm the current date, local availability, platforms, and edition on the publisher’s or platform’s game-specific page before making plans.

Regional calendars are another reason to check carefully. Nintendo’s official Japanese release schedule includes dated future entries, but it is a market-specific calendar, not a complete worldwide list. Before release, announcements can establish plans, platforms, and selected features; they cannot show whether a game is enjoyable, technically sound in players’ hands, or among the year’s best. The list therefore identifies releases worth following rather than claiming a winner. Fable creative director Ralph Fulton described the project’s direction in an Xbox Wire interview: “We’ve always said that this is Playground’s Fable – we’re not making a sequel to Lionhead’s games.” That statement gives context for the project, but it is not a verdict on the finished game. A genuine best-games list can take shape after releases, using explained editorial criteria and credible evaluation evidence. Until then, compare announced timing and access—not unverified claims about quality.
