Into the Breach: a tactical strategy pick
Into the Breach is the more focused choice if you want a turn-based game built around evaluating threats and deciding how to respond. Netflix’s listing calls it “8 x 8 tactical warfare” and describes a fight to defend civilization from alien attackers. Its compact battlefield and deliberate turns make it a natural pick for players who enjoy planning rather than open-world exploration.

In Red Dead Redemption, John Marston sets out to find members of his former gang after his family is kidnapped. Netflix’s guide places the story in a fictional 1911 American Southwest and Mexico. It is an action-oriented choice for players who want a narrative alongside activities including clearing gang hideouts, hunting, taming horses, poker, bounties, and duels.
#1 Best Overall
- When federal agents threaten his family, former outlaw John Marston is forced to hunt down the gang of criminals he once called friends.
- Experience Marston’s journey across the sprawling expanses of the American West and Mexico as he fights to bury his blood-stained past in the critically acclaimed predecessor to the 2018 blockbuster, Red Dead Redemption 2.
- Also included is Undead Nightmare, the iconic horror story that transforms the world of Red Dead Redemption into an apocalyptic fight for survival against a zombie horde.
What is included
Netflix says the mobile version includes the standalone Undead Nightmare expansion. Its guide describes the game as a complete experience in its own right; playing Red Dead Redemption 2 first is not necessary. The story involves violence and outlaw themes, so consider that premise when choosing a game for your profile.
How Dead Eye works
Dead Eye is the game’s slow-motion targeting mechanic, which lets Marston line up shots during combat. It is one of the Western action systems that distinguishes Red Dead Redemption from the turn-based decisions of Into the Breach.

How to access Netflix mobile games
Netflix’s dated catalog says members can access more than 120 exclusive mobile games without ads, extra fees, or in-app purchases. Games are downloaded through app stores to supported Android phones and tablets, and to iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
- An active Netflix subscription and a non-Kids profile are required.
- Netflix specifies Android 8.0 or later, or iOS/iPadOS 15 or later.
- You need internet access to download and install a game, plus enough storage on your device.
- Some games may have additional title-specific requirements; check the individual listing in your market.
Saved game progress is associated with your Netflix profile and may be stored locally or in the cloud, according to Netflix. The company’s catalog is dated September 9, 2026, so check the current listing to confirm that a game remains available where you live.

Can you play Netflix games on a TV or in a browser?
Netflix also offers games on TVs and Netflix.com, but its Help Center describes this as a beta that is not available in every country or on every device. The listed countries are Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Poland, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and the United States. A phone or tablet acts as the TV-game controller; other controllers are not supported at this time. Netflix recommends a stable connection and download speeds of 10 Mbps or higher. See its TV and Netflix.com games help page for current compatibility details.
This beta is a separate experience from downloading mobile games. The fact that a game appears in Netflix’s mobile catalog does not establish that it is playable on a TV or in a browser.
