Her value comes from lowering enemy Defense, increasing damage taken, supporting an ally’s Attack, and manipulating affinities with Virus. The core sequence is to trigger Data Storm with a debuff while Analysis is full, then use Data Link on the ally whose attack attribute best fits the target.
What Oracle does
Oracle is Futaba Sakura’s codename in Persona 5: The Phantom X. The official Persona5: The Phantom X Operations Team announcement describes her as a “5★ Elucidator who excels at debuffing foes.” Her Persona is Necronomicon. Rather than carrying fights through personal damage, she helps the party by weakening enemies and creating opportunities for a damage dealer.
Her main skills have distinct jobs: Pentest Complete! reduces all foes’ Defense; Vulnerability Found! increases one foe’s damage taken and advances Analysis when allies damage that target; Data Link Established! buffs a selected ally and applies Virus during Data Storm. Skill values depend on investment, and names or descriptions can vary by localization, so check the current client for exact effects.
How to build Oracle
Prioritize Attack
Attack is Oracle’s most useful general stat. It improves the effects of her Defense and damage-taken debuffs, the Attack boost from Data Link, and the shield described in the Japan-version guide. This makes Attack valuable even when Oracle is not expected to deal much damage herself.
#1 Best Overall
- A Kotobukiya Japanese import
- Joker from Persona 5 Royal joins the Oshi Works series
- With a mask in hand and a sharp, forward-facing gaze, Joker strikes a cool, composed pose
- Includes a detachable acrylic back panel that recreates the Revolver Command UI
- Display base included
The Japan-version GAMEX guide recommends Attack main stats in the Moon and Heaven Revelation slots, with Critical Rate or Critical Damage in Star according to the carry and team. Its substat priority is Attack, then Critical Rate or Critical Damage, followed by penetration or damage multiplier. These are guide recommendations, not universal requirements.
Choose Revelation sets carefully
Set names and localized descriptions are not consistent across the cited guides. The Japan-version GAMEX guide lists Honesty + Labor and Resolve + Labor among its combinations. DBLTAP’s November 2025 guide recommends Labor & Resolve, describing Labor as providing an 8% party Max HP, Attack, and Defense effect when equipped by Navi, and Resolve as reducing enemy Defense when Oracle debuffs. Check the Revelation text in your own client before committing resources.

Use target Attack values as investment references, not gates
For Japan version 4.8, the GAMEX guide gives these Attack targets at the specified skill investments. They are progression-specific reference points, not breakpoints every Oracle must reach.
| Skill investment | Guide’s Attack target | Context |
|---|---|---|
| Level 10 | 4,600 | GAMEX Japan-version guide, September 5, 2026 |
| Level 10 + 5 | 5,060 | GAMEX Japan-version guide, September 5, 2026 |
| Level 13 | 5,980 | GAMEX Japan-version guide, September 5, 2026 |
| Level 13 + 5 | 6,440 | GAMEX Japan-version guide, September 5, 2026 |
Skill priority
The GAMEX guide’s recommended order is Data Link (skill 3), Defense debuff (skill 1), then damage-taken debuff (skill 2). This prioritizes Oracle’s ally support and signature Virus sequence before the two enemy debuffs.

Which weapon should Oracle use?
Technomage Ultra FS is Oracle’s exclusive 5★ weapon, identified as such in the official announcement. The announcement says it can increase the critical damage enemies take. The November 2025 DBLTAP guide lists 30% Attack, a 10% ally Attack boost after weakness damage, and a 7.6% critical-damage-taken debuff that can stack twice.
The September 2026 GAMEX guide compares a fully modified 4★ PRO Spec Note with an unmodified 5★ exclusive. It describes PRO Spec Note as granting 24% Attack and increasing damage taken by 19% for two turns after Virus is applied. In that comparison, the 5★ weapon grants 30% Attack, 10% ally Attack after weakness damage, and 7.6% increased critical damage taken after a skill debuff, stacking twice. GAMEX calls the 4★ option a usable substitute. Because the comparison uses different refinement levels, those figures do not establish an equal-refinement damage gap.

- A Kotobukiya Japanese import
- Violet from Persona 5 Royal joins the Oshi Works series
- Violet’s dignified and elegant presence, combined with the graceful strength and noble aura, will bring a refined splendor to your collectio
- Includes a detachable acrylic back panel that recreates the Revolver Command UI
- Display base included
Choose based on the weapon you own and how your team deals damage: PRO Spec Note’s listed bonus follows Virus, while the exclusive weapon’s listed ally Attack bonus depends on triggering weakness damage and its critical-damage-taken effect favors teams that can capitalize on it. Confirm current weapon text and availability in your server’s client.

- Start with full Analysis. The Japan-version guide says Oracle begins at 100% Analysis through a passive.
- Use a debuff to activate Data Storm. Use Security Bye-Bye or Vulnerability Found!; the guide also describes a debuff skill used at full Analysis as the trigger. If a target is already under Vulnerability Found!, allied attacks on it advance Analysis.
- Use Data Link during Data Storm. Choose the ally attribute that matches the attack you intend to use, so Virus alters affinities in a useful direction.
- Exploit the window immediately. The Japan-version guide says Virus lasts one turn. Coordinate the selected ally’s matching attack within that short window.
Virus shifts affinity by one step; it does not turn every resistant target into a weakness. GAMEX’s Japan-version guide gives these outcomes:

- A Good Smile Company import

- The brain of the Phantom Thieves joins the Pop Up Parade series of figures
- Her slender physique has been carefully recreated
- Measures approximately 6.7” tall
| Enemy’s original affinity | Affinity after Virus |
|---|---|
| Null, Repel, or Drain | Resist |
| Resist | Neutral |
| Neutral | Weakness |
| Already Weakness | Remains Weakness; weakness damage increases by 25% |
Check an enemy’s original affinity before committing your carry’s attack. In particular, Null, Repel, and Drain become Resist—not Weakness—so Virus is not a way to bypass those affinities into a weakness.
Team composition
Choose the rest of the party around the encounter and your roster. Bring a high-output damage dealer that can hit an existing weakness or exploit one Virus creates, then add support that improves that carry’s output. DBLTAP’s 2025 guide names Joker and Queen as example 5★ damage dealers and Chord as an Attack-buffing support; these are examples, not a permanent best-in-slot ranking.
- Check the target’s original affinity and identify which Virus result benefits your damage dealer.
- Match Data Link’s selected attribute to the attack you can deliver during Virus’s one-turn duration.
- Consider whether your roster already supplies Attack or critical support before adding another buffer.
Version and availability notes
The mechanics and build recommendations above draw on a GAMEX guide labeled Japan version 4.8 and dated September 5, 2026. Revelation names and text may differ by region or localization, and the live client may change. DBLTAP’s skill and team descriptions date from November 2025, so verify exact skill text in game.
Quick Recap
The official announcement documented a Global rerun from March 26, 2026 at 02:30 UTC to April 9, 2026 at 01:59 UTC, featuring Technomage Ultra FS and the 4★ Cyberdeck Pro among its event weapons. That rerun has ended. The announcement says exclusive 5★ characters and weapons may return through other opportunities and directs players to in-game contract details; it does not establish a current banner.
