There is no evidence here to name a tested overall winner among RTX 3070 Ti partner cards. For a 2023-era shortlist, compare the exact model and revision, case fit, power requirements, independently measured noise and temperatures, and the card’s price and condition. The RTX 3070 Ti launched on June 10, 2021; its original US MSRP was $599, not a current price or value benchmark.
What the RTX 3070 Ti baseline tells you—and what it does not
PC Gamer’s 2025 GPU table lists the RTX 3070 Ti with 8GB of memory, a 256-bit memory bus, 290W power, a June 10, 2021 launch date, and a $599 US launch MSRP. These are historical reference figures for the GPU tier, not a quote for a card today or a guarantee that every partner board behaves identically. PC Gamer’s GPU table
Board partners build different versions around the same GPU. Factory clocks, cooling hardware, card dimensions, power connectors, outputs, and power limits can differ. Check the precise SKU and revision on the maker’s specification page rather than treating the family name as a complete specification.
RTX 3070 Ti cards to put on a shortlist
These named models are candidates to compare, not a ranking. The available specifications establish product details for some models, but do not provide a controlled, same-method comparison of gaming performance, thermals, acoustics, or reliability.

| Model | What the cited specification establishes | What to verify before buying |
|---|---|---|
| MSI GeForce RTX 3070 Ti SUPRIM X 8G | MSI identifies an 8GB GDDR6X card. Its US specification material lists three DisplayPort outputs, one HDMI output, and two 8-pin power connectors. MSI specifications | Exact regional SKU, dimensions, boost clock, PSU recommendation, and measured noise and temperatures. |
| MSI GeForce RTX 3070 Ti SUPRIM 8G | A distinct SUPRIM model, not another name for SUPRIM X. MSI SUPRIM specifications | Confirm this model’s own clock, dimensions, connectors, and power details; do not transfer SUPRIM X specifications to it. |
| Gigabyte AORUS GeForce RTX 3070 Ti MASTER 8G | Gigabyte lists 8GB memory, 6,144 CUDA cores, and 608 GB/s bandwidth. Gigabyte AORUS specifications | Dimensions, connectors, PSU recommendation, and the regional SKU shown on the actual listing. |
| Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3070 Ti GAMING OC 8G | Gigabyte has an official product page for this model. Gigabyte GAMING OC product page | Full model number and revision, plus the specifications for that exact revision. |
Do not infer that a card is quieter, cooler, faster, or more reliable from its branding, fan count, weight, or product tier. Those comparisons require independent tests using a stated method.
How to compare cards before you buy
- Match the complete model number. Confirm the exact SKU and revision on the product listing and manufacturer page. This matters especially when a product family includes multiple versions or regional variants.
- Check physical clearance. Compare the listed length, height, and slot thickness with your case’s GPU clearance and available expansion slots. Leave room for the power cables to bend without pressing against a side panel.
- Verify power connections and PSU guidance. Check the connector count on the exact card and whether your PSU has the required native cables. Compare the manufacturer’s recommended PSU with your system’s configuration; the GPU-tier reference of 290W is not a substitute for a partner card’s board limits or PSU recommendation.
- Look for comparable independent measurements. For gaming performance, noise, and temperature, prefer reviews that test the specific card under a documented workload and consistent conditions. A result from a different model or test setup is not a reliable head-to-head comparison.
- Compare the actual offer and protections. Check asking price, card condition, seller, return terms, and warranty coverage or transferability. For a used card, ask for clear photos and documentation, and confirm the return policy before paying.
A useful comparison sheet records the SKU, boost clock, dimensions, connector count, recommended PSU, measured gaming results, noise and temperature test conditions, warranty and condition, and asking price. If a specification or measurement is unavailable, treat it as unknown rather than filling the gap with an assumption.

How to judge value in a historical 2023 guide
The title’s 2023 framing is historical: the RTX 3070 Ti launched in 2021, and its $599 figure is the original US MSRP reported in PC Gamer’s 2025 reference table. Neither number establishes what a particular card should cost now. This comparison does not establish current stock or market prices, so value depends on the offer in front of you and the card’s condition, seller protections, and warranty.
Compare the asking price with newer alternatives available to you, rather than using the launch MSRP as a present-day target. Without verified current offers and like-for-like performance data, it is not possible to say which RTX 3070 Ti model is the best buy on price.

Who should consider these cards?
An RTX 3070 Ti partner card may be worth comparing if you have a specific model available at a price and condition that suit your needs, and your case and power supply can accommodate it. The evidence here does not support a claim that the RTX 3070 Ti is among the best GPUs available today, or that one of these board-partner models is a measured winner. Choose based on the exact card and verifiable fit, power, test data, and purchase protections—not the word “best” on a product label.
