What’s actually slowing this PC down?

Start with your monitor’s native resolution and a moderate graphics preset, then tune for the image quality and smoothness your PC can sustain. There is no verified universal “best” preset for Infinity Nikki at 4K, 1440p, or 1080p: the published PC requirements are not resolution-specific, and the available resolution-by-resolution guide does not document reproducible tests or measured frame rates.
Recommended starting point for each resolution
Use the resolution your display is set to as your output target. The following are tuning approaches, not tested presets or guaranteed performance targets.
| Output resolution | Starting approach | What to adjust if performance is poor |
|---|---|---|
| 4K | Begin at native 4K with a moderate graphics preset. Check image clarity and frame pacing in a repeatable scene. | Test a supported upscaling option, such as Intel XeSS if it is available in your client, or reduce individual quality settings one at a time. |
| 1440p | Begin at native 1440p and a moderate preset, then raise or lower quality settings based on observed performance. | Test upscaling if available, or reduce demanding quality controls individually and compare the result. |
| 1080p | Begin at native 1080p and a moderate preset. Increase quality only while the game remains smooth for your use. | Lower individual settings if performance is inconsistent; use upscaling only if it improves your experience on your hardware. |
To compare changes fairly, keep the scene and game version consistent. Change one control at a time and note the output resolution, render scale or upscaling mode, graphics settings, GPU and CPU, and whether frame generation is enabled. Compare both visual artifacts and frame pacing—not just a single frame-rate reading.
What the official PC requirements do—and do not—tell you
The official Infinity Nikki PC Installation Guide, published December 3, 2024, lists these general system tiers:
#1 Best Overall
- 27-inch 4K Display with Dual Mode Performance: Features UHD resolution (3840 x 2160) with versatile dual mode capability allowing switch between 4K at 80Hz or FHD at 310Hz via hotkey for esports performance
- Ultra-Fast Response Time: 0.3ms GTG (min.) response time delivers smooth gameplay, and ASUS Extreme Low Motion Blur (ELMB) technology further reduces ghosting and motion blur
- Adaptive Sync Technology: NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible and AMD FreeSync with exclusive Variable Overdrive technology ensure seamless, tear-free gaming experience
- DisplayWidget Center Control: Enables easy monitor settings adjustments with a mouse for convenient configuration and customization
- TUF Gaming A.I Technology: AI-powered features enhance gaming experience with intelligent optimization and performance adjustments
| Tier | Processor | Graphics | Memory | Operating system |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Minimum | Intel Core i5-6600 or AMD Ryzen 5 1500X | NVIDIA GTX 1060, AMD RX 590, or Intel Arc A380 | 16 GB RAM | Windows 10 22H2 |
| Recommended | Intel Core i7-6700 or AMD Ryzen 5 2600 | NVIDIA RTX 2060, RTX 3050 Laptop, AMD RX 5700 XT, or Intel Arc A580 | 16 GB RAM | Windows 10 22H2 |
These are the guide’s published baselines, not guarantees of a particular frame rate, graphics preset, or 4K experience. The recommended tier is not a 4K recommendation. Check the current game client and official guidance for changes since the guide’s publication.
Steam’s Infinity Nikki listing also specifies 60 GB of available storage and broadband internet. The installation guide recommends installing on an SSD and having at least 60 GB free for download and installation.

When to try XeSS or frame generation
The Infinity Nikki team’s Version 1.9 update notes say that the PC version added Intel XeSS super resolution and frame generation, and that players using AMD and Intel graphics cards should see better overall image clarity. The notes establish feature support, but do not name an ideal XeSS mode or quantify an FPS improvement.
- Check the current in-game graphics menu to see whether XeSS or frame generation is offered for your hardware and game version.
- Record your baseline at native output resolution in a repeatable scene before changing a setting.
- Enable one feature at a time, then compare clarity, artifacts, smoothness, and frame pacing in that same scene.
- Keep the output resolution and selected upscaling mode in your notes; they affect how a comparison should be interpreted.
Do not assume that every option is available on every GPU, or that frame generation will suit your preferred balance of responsiveness and visual smoothness.

- Quality Visuals: The VG270K 27" IPS monitor with 3840 x 2160 UHD resolution in a 16:9 aspect ratio presents stunning, high-quality images with excellent detail. The zero-frame design does away with the thick frames found on conventional monitors freeing up precious screen space.
- AMD FreeSync Premium Technology: Say “goodbye” to stuttering and tearing. With AMD FreeSync Premium, the monitor’s frames are synced with the graphics card’s frames, which eliminates screen tearing and provides the smoothest gaming experience.
- Quick Refresh Rate: Different content has different refresh rate and resolution requirements. If you are playing an FPS or racing game, you will need a monitor with a high refresh rate. However, if you are doing office work or streaming videos, a higher resolution will be more beneficial. With DFR technology, users can choose a higher resolution, or a higher refresh rate based on what is suitable for them.
- Responsive: Up to 0.5ms GTG (Gray to Gray) response time enhanced gamers’ in-game experience. No matter if the fast-moving action or any dramatic transitions will be rendered smoothly without the annoying effects of smearing or ghosting.
- ZeroFrame Design: With a Nitro VG270K monitor, you’ll want to see as much of the display as possible. Get more real estate with the near bezel-less design, allowing you to see more and do more. The ZeroFrame design lets you place multiple monitors next to each other for a seamless, almost uninterrupted view.
Why published “best settings” lists are not proven benchmarks
UMA Technology published a resolution-specific guide on January 26, 2025, with proposed combinations for 4K, 1440p, and 1080p. The inspected page does not document a test system, game version, measured FPS, or repeatable comparison method. Treat its suggestions as unverified starting points rather than measured winners, and do not let them override the publisher’s system requirements.
The official sources provide requirements and feature information, but no comparable benchmark results for the three resolutions. That means there is no sound basis here to assign expected FPS to a named GPU or declare one preset universally best.
