Distance is a starting point, not the only variable. Running style affects how much Power to prioritize, while a long race makes stamina and recovery more consequential. Adjust the baseline for the race you are training toward rather than trying to hit every listed number regardless of course.

What support-card deck should you use?
For a long-distance Career run, PC Gamer gives a sample deck shape of three Speed cards, two Stamina cards, and one Power card. It also suggests that one Stamina slot can become Wit if recovery skills compensate. Treat that as a flexible starting arrangement, not a mandatory Mayano deck: card quality, limit breaks, available hints, and her running style all matter.
- Short on stamina support? Keep the extra Stamina slot for a long-distance goal unless your recovery skill access and training results justify changing it.
- Considering more Wit? The cited sample allows a Stamina-to-Wit swap when recovery skills make up the difference; it does not establish a universal threshold for that swap.
- Assess card uncaps. Game8 describes Party Formation Mayano as an SSR Speed specialty support card and says much of its training value, especially Specialty Priority, depends on higher limit-break levels. Support-card hints are only one source of skills. Distinguish skills available from Mayano’s own skill tree, inheritance, and support-card hints when deciding whether a deck actually supplies the abilities your build needs.

Which skills should you prioritize?
Build around the outfit’s own unique skill, the target race, and the skills your roster can reliably obtain. For Scramble Zone, its reported condition makes positioning and the relevant late-race situation part of the build question; it is not enough to select skills by rarity alone. For Sunlight Bouquet and Halloween Mayano, verify the outfit’s skill text in-game because the available information does not support exact activation conditions.
Recovery skills matter especially when you alter a long-distance deck by replacing Stamina support with Wit. The broad Career guide presents that as a trade-off, not a guarantee that any recovery skill will compensate for any amount of missing Stamina. Match skills to Mayano’s running style and the race’s distance, and avoid treating support hints as a substitute for checking the skill’s actual condition.

Does this build work for Team Trials or PvP?
Career targets and the sample deck above are not a Team Trials or event-PvP recommendation. Competitive builds need to account for the specific event rules and course, outfit, inheritance, support-card roster, and current game patch. The cited broad guide explicitly distinguishes specialized Team Trials builds from Career baselines and advises trial and error; it does not establish a current Mayano PvP stat line or deck.
How to adapt the build to your roster
- Choose the exact outfit. Use its own unique-skill description; do not transfer activation assumptions between Scramble Zone, Sunlight Bouquet, and Halloween.
- Set the race distance. Use the relevant Career baseline as a rough reference, then prioritize stamina and recovery appropriately for longer goals.
- Account for running style. Adjust Power priorities to the style and build the skill package around the race situation.
- Evaluate your actual support cards. Compare card quality and limit breaks, and use the sample three-Speed, two-Stamina, one-Power long-distance deck only as a starting shape.
- Separate mode goals. For Career, work from distance-based targets; for Team Trials or event PvP, use the event’s course and rules rather than assuming Career numbers transfer.
- Check skill details in-game. Confirm the exact wording and availability of skills before spending training choices on a condition that may not match your outfit or mode.
