There is no source-backed universal “best” Valorant crosshair. The most useful 2026 codes are presets to test: import a complete string, confirm the preview, then keep the profile that stays visible and comfortable on your display. Codes attributed to pros are third-party reports, not Riot endorsements or guarantees that a player still uses that exact reticle.

TextFizz’s September 5, 2026 compilation names TenZ, aspas, Demon1, Derke and f0rsakeN, but it remains a secondary compilation drawing on other pages and Reddit examples. itsEsports explicitly labels its exact-code strings as “realistic placeholders,” so those examples should be treated as style inspiration rather than player-confirmed codes.

How to import a crosshair code
Riot added auto-generated crosshair import and export codes in Patch 4.05. Use the in-game profile controls rather than manually rebuilding each setting.

- Open Settings and select the Crosshair tab.
- Click the down-arrow icon beside Crosshair Profile.
- Paste or type the complete code into the field.
- Click Import.
- Inspect the preview to ensure the intended reticle appeared, then give the profile a unique name.
Riot’s wording is: “To import crosshair settings, go to Settings >> Crosshair tab >> click on the icon that looks like an arrow pointing down next to Crosshair Profile. Input or paste the code in the provided field and click the “Import” button.”
Exporting your own profile
In the same Crosshair Profile area, click the up-arrow icon. Riot says the generated code is copied to your clipboard, allowing you to back up or share the exact settings.

Choosing a reticle that works for you
Dot versus small cross
- Dot: uses minimal visual elements and can suit players who want one central reference.
- Small cross: adds line cues around the center. Adjust line length, thickness and gap until they guide rather than cover the target.

Color, outline and contrast
Choose a color that remains distinct from common map scenery. Test it against bright and dark areas, and avoid a reticle so large or thick that it obscures an enemy model. No single color is best on every map or monitor.

Center dot and movement behavior
A center dot can reinforce the precise aim point, while outlines can preserve visibility against similar colors. Static settings keep the visual stable; movement and firing error indicators add feedback about inaccuracy. Compare both in the practice range and keep the information you can read without distraction.
A practical testing routine
- Import one complete code and save it under a unique profile name.
- Check the preview, then view it on several practice-range backgrounds.
- Fire and move to see whether error indicators help or interfere.
- Play several rounds before changing one variable, such as gap or thickness.
- Keep the profile that stays visible and comfortable, rather than the one attached to the most famous name.
What pro codes can—and cannot—tell you
A pro code is a convenient starting preset. The same dimensions can look different with another resolution, display, scaling setting or personal preference. Third-party guides may disagree, and a listed code may no longer be used by the named player. Import the entire string, verify the resulting profile in Valorant and treat the attribution as context, not proof of better aim.

No independently substantiated statistic in the reviewed material shows that any particular code improves performance. RaidGG reports publisher-run testing across more than 200 Deathmatch games and 12 maps, but that claim is not independently verified evidence of a universally superior reticle.

Start with a dated, player-attributed code if you like its look, verify it in-game, and customize visibility and spacing until the reticle feels natural. The best Valorant crosshair in 2026 is the one you can consistently see and use—not a code that carries a pro’s name.
