Your home computer can stay off; the cloud service supplies the continuing stream. YouTube does not turn an ordinary upload or playlist into a live broadcast by itself. You need an encoder feed, whether it comes from a cloud service or suitable standalone hardware.
Why cloud playout fits a continuous relaxation stream
A cloud playout service plays video files you upload, then sends their output to YouTube Live. That makes it the most direct fit when you want a continuous prerecorded stream without leaving a computer running at home. The playlist can repeat, but describe it honestly as prerecorded relaxation content—not as a live yoga class or real-time instruction if no instructor is present.
YouTube’s encoder workflow uses a server URL and stream key from YouTube Studio. The encoder can be software, standalone hardware, or a cloud service operating the encoder for you. YouTube’s encoder guide also lists cloud services for 24/7 prerecorded video; that is recognition of the use case in its documentation, not an endorsement or uptime guarantee.

For a no-computer setup, compare providers on unattended looping, what must remain powered at home, plan and duration limits, storage and accepted formats, reconnection, monitoring, support, cancellation, and geographic availability. These are provider-specific terms, not guarantees from YouTube.

Prepare your channel and yoga playlist
Confirm YouTube Live access early
YouTube Help says a channel needs to be verified and have no live-streaming restrictions during the preceding 90 days; streamers must be at least 16. YouTube also says first-time activation can take up to 24 hours. Complete activation well before the planned launch and confirm the current requirements in YouTube’s getting-started live-streaming guidance and encoder setup instructions.
Check rights and platform rules
Use only video, music, and other material you own or are licensed to broadcast on YouTube. A streaming service does not grant rights to the files you upload. YouTube states that all live-stream content must follow its Community Guidelines and Terms of Service. Keep your licence records and source files, and do not assume that background music is cleared just because it appears in a relaxation video.

Make the loop feel intentional
- Build a playlist with coherent transitions and a suitable order; check that the final clip flows naturally back to the first.
- Listen for changes in loudness, silence, abrupt cuts, or audio that could disturb a relaxation session.
- Check aspect ratio, orientation, cropping, and image quality on the YouTube preview.
- Keep a separate backup of the original media in case you need to rebuild or replace the playlist.
Connect a cloud playout service to YouTube
- Create the YouTube broadcast. In YouTube Studio, open the Live Control Room and create or schedule a live stream. Select the encoder workflow. The exact screen labels can change, so follow the current YouTube Studio prompts.
- Copy the server URL and stream key. YouTube provides these in the encoder setup. Treat the key like a password: do not publish it or send it to viewers. Enter it only in the service you chose. If you reset the key in YouTube, update it in the service as well.
- Upload and arrange your videos. Add the cleared source files to the provider, arrange them in a loop or playlist, and set the available playback options. Check the provider’s current storage, file-format, and duration limits before relying on a long playlist.
- Connect and test. Paste the YouTube server URL and stream key into the provider’s YouTube or encoder settings. If the workflow permits, start with a private or unlisted test rather than immediately presenting the stream as a finished public channel.
- Check the live feed. In YouTube Live Control Room, inspect stream health and confirm the picture, audio level, title, description, orientation, and playlist transition. Verify that the stream continues into the next item as expected.
- Plan for interruptions. Find out how the provider handles a dropped YouTube connection, whether it retries automatically, and how you will notice a failure that needs attention. No uptime percentage or uninterrupted availability is established here; do not promise viewers that the stream can never stop.
Decide whether you need a YouTube replay
YouTube’s encoder guide says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. That guidance does not establish that a continuous stream longer than 12 hours will be archived in full. If a replay matters, plan shorter scheduled broadcasts within the documented under-12-hour threshold and retain your original files separately. Confirm current YouTube guidance before launch.
Costs and service terms to check
Cloud playout trades home equipment and an always-on computer for a provider subscription and its operating limits. Compare the actual plan duration, storage, accepted file formats, continuous-stream allowance, cancellation terms, support, and recovery behavior before subscribing. For context, OneStream Live’s Help Center, updated September 3, 2026, specifies Enterprise access and a 30-day maximum for its 24/7 feature; those terms apply to that provider, not to cloud services as a category.

Common problems and fixes
- YouTube does not show the incoming stream: check that you selected the encoder workflow, copied the right server URL and stream key, and updated the service if the key was reset. Confirm that first-time live activation is complete.
- The stream starts but the playlist stops or does not repeat: inspect the provider’s playlist and loop settings, file support, and duration limits. Test the transition before sharing the public link.
- Audio or framing looks wrong: check the source files and the preview for loudness jumps, silence, cropping, or incorrect orientation; adjust the playlist or source before relaunching.
- The connection drops: use the provider’s documented reconnect procedure and check stream health in YouTube Live Control Room. Confirm what automatic recovery the chosen service offers and how it reports failures.
- No replay appears for a long broadcast: YouTube’s cited automatic-archive guidance applies to streams under 12 hours; it does not promise a full archive for longer continuous broadcasts. Keep the source media and use shorter scheduled streams if a replay is important.
- A claim or restriction affects the stream: review the rights for every video and music segment and YouTube’s applicable live-content rules. Replace or remove material you are not authorized to broadcast.
