LiveReacting — best documented playlist capacity among the other options
LiveReacting advertises a cloud-hosted 24/7 plan for prerecorded videos or music. Its documentation says the stream can continue while your computer is off, and its 24/7 plan advertises one concurrent stream on the displayed base tier with no listed interruption or run limit. Its scheduling documentation states a maximum of 600 videos in one playlist and 7,000 videos across a project’s playlists. Those are service-stated limits, not an independent performance test. Resolution, pricing and concurrent streams vary by plan, so check the current plan details before choosing it.

OneStream Live supports cloud playlist streaming and describes its 24/7 feature as YouTube-only. Its setup instructions say Enterprise is required and cap an individual stream at 30 days. Set up a prerecorded YouTube stream safely

- Prepare the playlist and confirm the loop mode. Upload only the videos you intend to broadcast, arrange them in the intended order, and make sure the service is set to loop or to its 24/7 mode. A normal scheduled playlist may stop at its configured end instead of repeating.
- Check the service limits before a large upload. Verify storage, per-video upload limits, resolution, concurrent streams, destinations and maximum run duration for the plan you will use. Do not infer stream duration from playlist capacity.
- Connect the YouTube channel using its stream key. Treat the key as a password: use the service’s protected connection flow, do not publish it, and regenerate it in YouTube if it is exposed. Confirm the intended channel and stream are selected before going live.
- Run a short test and monitor the result. Check that the video plays in the correct order, audio is present, the playlist repeats as expected, and the YouTube watch page shows the intended title and visibility. Review the provider’s status and support information; marketing claims are not a guarantee of uninterrupted operation.
- Plan separately for archives. Restream’s YouTube help and LiveReacting’s scheduling page warn that YouTube streams longer than 12 hours may not be saved as a video. If a replay matters, keep the source files and make a separate recording or schedule shorter sessions; check current YouTube guidance for your channel.
Copyright, policy and monetization considerations
YouTube Help says, “All content in live streams must adhere to our Community Guidelines and Terms of Service.” Use videos, music, artwork and other material that you own or have permission to broadcast. Before putting a channel on a long-running loop, review the rights and licensing terms for every item, including music and visuals embedded in a video. Keep evidence of permissions where relevant, and check YouTube’s current policies for copyright claims, live restrictions and monetization eligibility. Do not assume that looping prerecorded content will qualify for monetization; eligibility depends on YouTube’s applicable rules and the channel’s content.

- The stream will not start: confirm live streaming is enabled, any first-time activation has completed, the channel is not restricted, and the correct channel and stream key are connected.
- The playlist ends unexpectedly: check whether you scheduled a finite playlist rather than enabling repeat or 24/7 mode; verify the provider’s maximum run duration and plan access.
- The stream stops after a fixed period: compare the run against the service cap. OneStream Live’s setup guide specifies 30 days; Restream’s documented playlist limit is 24 hours.
- You cannot change videos during playback: Restream documents that a live playlist cannot have videos added, removed or reordered. Make and verify changes before the scheduled start.
- No YouTube replay appears: the reviewed provider documentation warns that streams longer than 12 hours may not be archived as a video. Retain originals and arrange a separate recording or shorter sessions if an archive is important.
- A video or music track triggers a rights issue: stop using material unless you can establish that you own it or have the necessary license or permission; review YouTube’s notice and the relevant rights terms.
