EGW.News reported that a Double XP weekend for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone was due to begin Thursday, June 19, 2025. Its coverage named Multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone, but described only standard XP as confirmed. The event is over, and the reported June 23 end date was tentative—not confirmed.
When was the Black Ops 6 Double XP weekend?
In an article dated June 17, 2025, EGW.News reported that the event would start Thursday, June 19. The outlet said it was expected to run through Monday, June 23, but marked that end date as likely and “TBC.” It should therefore be treated as an estimate in that report, not a confirmed schedule.

The event is historical; those dates have passed. The report attributed the announcement to the game’s in-game events tab, but no official Call of Duty source confirming the event details was located. The dates and scope here are consequently attributed to EGW.News.
Which modes and XP types were included?
EGW.News said the reported Double XP event covered Multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone. It described standard XP as confirmed, but said Weapon XP and Battle Pass XP had not been announced.

“Double XP” should not be read as confirmation that every progression track received a bonus: the coverage distinguished standard XP from Weapon XP and Battle Pass XP.

No. A separate Game Geeks News listing described the John Wick: Ballerina event as running June 5–19, 2025, with redeemable Double XP and Double Weapon XP tokens among its rewards. Those were rewards associated with that separate event, not confirmation that the June 19 weekend itself doubled Weapon XP.
