Clear the enemy outpost, find the radio and safe in separate rooms, then match the radio’s waveform to hear the combination for your playthrough. There is no reliable universal code to copy from another player.
Where to find the Hunting Season safe
Go to the Village, southwest of the Layup and northwest of the Satellite Farm Outpost. The Village is an enemy outpost, so clear the area before searching the buildings. The safe and its radio are both inside the largest building in the Village POI.
How to reach the radio and safe
You can enter the large building from either side. The east-side entrance leads directly to the main floor; from the west entrance, use the small staircase. The room layout may be easier to identify by landmarks than by entry route:
- Radio: Look in a small, dark room near the east exit. The radio is on a desk beside a TV.
- Safe: Search the brighter kitchen area in the other room. The safe is beside a cabinet.
Guide descriptions differ slightly on the exact room and floor details, but agree that the radio and safe are in separate rooms of the building. If one landmark does not match what you see, search the other rooms in the large building.

#1 Best Overall
- Developed by Treyarch and Raven, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is a spy action thriller set in the early 90s, a period of transition and upheaval in global politics, characterized by the end of the Cold War and the rise of the United States as a single superpower.
- This is signature Black Ops across a cinematic single-player Campaign, a best-in-class Multiplayer experience, and the epic return of Round-Based Zombies.
- The Black Ops 6 Campaign provides dynamic moment-to-moment gameplay that includes a variety of play spaces with blockbuster set pieces and action-packed moments, high-stakes heists, and cloak-and-dagger spy activity.
- In a best-in-class Multiplayer experience, players will test their skills across 16 new maps at launch, including 12 core 6v6 maps and 4 Strike maps that can be played 2v2 or 6v6.
- Black Ops 6 also marks the epic return of Round-Based Zombies, the fan-favorite mode where players will take down hordes of the undead in two brand-new maps at launch. Post-launch, players can look forward to even more exciting maps and groundbreaking experiences dropping into both Multiplayer and Zombies.
How to solve the radio puzzle and open the safe
- Interact with the radio in the dark room.
- Adjust its frequency and amplitude until the waveform matches the target signal.
- Listen to the radio’s number combination once the waveform is aligned.
- Go to the safe in the separate, brighter room and enter the combination the radio gave you.
Use the combination generated by your own radio puzzle. A code reported by another player is not established as a dependable answer for your session.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. Why a copied safe code may not work
The combination is obtained by solving the radio waveform puzzle in the player’s game, rather than relying on a fixed code verified for every playthrough. If a code from a guide or another player fails, return to the radio, match both frequency and amplitude to the target signal, and use the numbers it plays.
