The notes do not recommend a cap, and there is no verified game-specific setting here that guarantees smoother play. On PS5 and Windows 11, you can also check platform settings, but whether they affect Blood Bowl 3 depends on the game and your setup.
What settings should I change in Blood Bowl 3 for smoother gameplay?
PC: check Max framerate first
Open Blood Bowl 3’s Graphics options and look for Max framerate. The official Blood Bowl 3 / Nacon patch note for version 1.4.5.0, dated 22 April 2024, says it “Added a "Max framerate" setting in the Graphics option menu.” It does not specify an ideal value, list available choices, or explain whether a particular cap reduces stutter. The current menu wording and options have not been verified.
If the menu offers a suitable cap, a cautious approach is to choose one your PC can sustain and compare play in similar match conditions. Treat that as a way to tune your own setup, not an official Blood Bowl 3 recommendation or a guaranteed fix. The patch note does not document an equivalent setting on consoles.
PS5: check whether Blood Bowl 3 supports a game preset
Go to Settings > Saved Data and Game/App Settings > Game Presets. PlayStation describes Performance Mode as the option for smoother motion and Resolution Mode as the option for higher graphic quality. These are system presets, and only games that offer the modes use them; Sony also notes that some preset settings may not apply to every game. Check Blood Bowl 3’s own options rather than assuming that changing the global preset changes this game.

Windows 11: check graphics preference when your PC has multiple GPUs
For a Windows 11 PC with more than one GPU, open Settings > System > Display > Graphics. Select Blood Bowl 3 from the app list or add it if needed, then review its graphics preference. Windows lists Let Windows decide, Power saving, and High performance; the available choices and their effect depend on the PC. This is general Windows guidance, not a confirmed Blood Bowl 3 fix.
If you play in a window, Windows 11 also documents an Optimizations for windowed games toggle in Graphics settings. Consider it only if the display mode makes it relevant to your setup. Microsoft advises restarting the game after changing relevant options; this system-level adjustment is not proof of a Blood Bowl 3-specific benefit.

How can I make Blood Bowl 3 easier to see?
Use PS5 accessibility options with their limits in mind
PS5 offers console-level display and text accessibility settings, including text size, bold text, high contrast, color correction, and reduced motion. To use screen zoom, go to Settings > Accessibility > Display and Sound > Zoom. Zoom enlarges the screen as a whole and may have limitations in some circumstances.
These are PlayStation settings, not confirmation that Blood Bowl 3’s match rendering or interface responds to every option. In particular, do not assume that system text scaling, contrast, or color filters will alter the game’s own UI. Check the result in the game before relying on a setting.

How to adjust settings without guessing
- Identify the problem. Note whether the issue is low frame rate, uneven motion or stutter, text size, contrast, or difficulty reading the camera or UI.
- Record your setup. Write down your platform, game patch or build if available, and display mode so you can compare like with like.
- Change one available option at a time. Start with the setting relevant to the problem, then play in a similar match context and compare.
- Restart when required. For the Windows 11 options described above, follow Microsoft’s advice to restart the game after changing relevant settings.
- Keep the change only if it helps. If you cannot tell whether it made a difference, restore the previous option before testing another.
What is known about current platform settings?
Cyanide Studio’s 17 December 2025 Season 11 announcement says the season was live on all platforms and mentions fixes, including controller-related fixes. It does not provide a complete current graphics menu or establish that PC and console settings match. The confirmed PC Max framerate option comes from the April 2024 patch note, so its present-day menu details and console parity remain unverified.
