Can you pickpocket enemies in Bloodlines 2?
Yes. The Valentine’s Update gives rooftop enemies a chance to carry an elixir or blood bag. The developer says most rooftop encounters in the city will include an enemy carrying loot, and that players can pickpocket the item without being seen.
The other option is to kill the carrier and collect the loot afterward. The announcement describes these two ways to get the item, but does not compare their broader risks or rewards.
What do resonant blood bags do?
Resonant blood bags award points matching their blood type. The developer gives 100 Sanguine points as an example. Players can spend these points at a Clan Contact to awaken the Nomad’s blocked abilities.

Where do you find blood bags?
According to the update notes, Anarch vampires and their Ghouls typically carry blood bags on Seattle rooftops. Blood bags can also appear in certain quests. The notes do not provide a complete list of locations or quest names.
Which Bloodlines 2 abilities help with stealth?
The update clarifies how several abilities can support stealth. These are the developer’s descriptions of their utility, not a guarantee that every encounter can be completed undetected.
- Bladed Hand: The notes add the description “A silent attack” to clarify its use as a stealth attack.
- Unseen Aura: The developer says it lasts longer when the player stays still.
- Possession: The update says Ventrue and Affect abilities can be cast while possessing someone.
What else is in the Valentine’s Update?
Rooftop loot and stealth clarifications are part of a broader update. The developer’s changelog also lists a rebalanced kick input window, changes to Cauldron of Blood, performance improvements, updated ability descriptions, improved access to the Load Game menu, cosmetics, and bug fixes.
The notes report 26 new customization options: 7 hair options, 8 makeup looks, 4 eye colors, and 7 accessories. They also cite 151 existing customization items and 24 outfits. The developer claims shader compilation is “90x faster,” but does not state the benchmark method or hardware; that figure should not be read as a general performance guarantee.
