The Blox Fruits Lightning Update, also called Update 27.0, was released on August 23, 2025. It is a past update, so any countdown timer for its launch has expired. The exact release time is unclear: two reports give different times, and no developer announcement was found to resolve the discrepancy.
When did the Blox Fruits Lightning Update release?
Secondary coverage agrees that the update launched on August 23, 2025. Beebom reported 8:30 AM PT, while MobileMatters reported 8:00 AM PT, leaving the precise time unsettled.
Beebom’s August 23, 2025 article gives 8:30 AM PT and lists 11:30 AM ET, 5:30 PM CET and 9:00 PM IST. Those regional conversions reflect Beebom’s reported time; they should not be treated as independently confirmed launch times. MobileMatters instead reports 8:00 AM PT on the same date.
Because the reports conflict by 30 minutes and neither is a developer announcement, the date is better established than the exact hour.
