Ironwall Resolve is a bunker in Dominion’s Terminus District, near the Frantic Scrawl fast-travel point. To open it, complete Means of Ascent, then start and finish One Gassy Issue with Beth at Lakeside Properties. At the entrance, fetch a Locust canister from the plaza below and throw it at the bio-armored door.
Where to find Ironwall Resolve
Travel to the Terminus District in Dominion and use Frantic Scrawl as the nearby fast-travel point. The bunker entrance is reached from this area. The location and route are described by [Gamepressure] and [All Things How].

How to unlock the bunker
- Complete the main mission Means of Ascent.
- Go to Lakeside Properties and speak to Beth to begin One Gassy Issue.
- Finish One Gassy Issue. The guides report that this enables the corrosive canisters needed for the bunker entrance; All Things How specifically describes it as activating the nearby Locust station.
These mission prerequisites are reported by secondary walkthroughs, rather than official Gearbox documentation: [Gamepressure] and [All Things How].
How to get the canister to the armored door
- At the entrance, go down the stairs and look to the right into the small plaza.
- Find the Locust station on a trash pile beside a building, then pick up or pull a canister.
- Return to the entrance promptly and throw the canister at the bio-armored door. Gamepressure’s September 23, 2025 guide estimates a fuse of roughly 15 seconds, so avoid detours; treat that timing as a guide estimate, not a guaranteed timer.
How to clear Ironwall Resolve
The bunker’s barriers are controlled by power cores. Clear the entrance core and then the cores in both side wings before returning to the central route.

Lower the entrance barrier
Enter the bunker and shoot the visible power core to lower the first barrier.
Clear the left wing
Fight through the left side and destroy its core. All Things How describes using a grapple node to reach a high room; Gamepressure also places a core in an upper room.

Clear the right wing
Push through the right side and destroy its core. All Things How points to a ladder at the back of the corridor.
Return to the central route
Once both wing cores are destroyed, return to the central path. The walkthroughs describe enemies including Wardens, Armatures, and Overwatchmen; All Things How also notes that a Seneschel Hammerhead can create a dome shield. These are guide-reported encounter details, and enemy placement may vary.

How to beat Directive-0
Directive-0 is the final boss. The guides describe a shield phase followed by an armor phase and recommend matching damage to each defense: Shock against the shield, then Corrosive against armor. Aim for the head when possible, avoid lingering directly in front of its barrier, and keep track of adds and projectiles. All Things How also calls out deployable turret orbs. These are secondary-guide tactics, not independently verified mechanics.
Before entering the boss arena, restock at the vending machines on the central route. The boss and combat recommendations are covered by [Gamepressure] and [All Things How].

If the bunker will not open
- The canister station is missing: Check that you have completed Means of Ascent and finished One Gassy Issue with Beth. The guides connect those quests to access to the required canisters.
- The canister detonates before reaching the door: Take the direct route from the plaza below the entrance and skip fights or detours where possible; Gamepressure estimates a fuse of roughly 15 seconds.
- A barrier remains inside: Look for the visible power core at the entrance or the unfinished core in either wing. Both side cores must be destroyed to proceed along the central route.
The location, unlock sequence, and tactics above are based on secondary walkthroughs published in 2025 and checked on October 8, 2026. They are not official Gearbox documentation, and later patches may change mechanics or loot.
