Where is the Ripper Queen in Borderlands 4?
Gearbox identifies Callis as the leader and Queen of the Rippers in its Borderlands 4 announcement on Kairos. For the story mission, go to Kairos > Dissected Plateau > The Stubs. A walkthrough names Zandra as the quest giver, lists A Lot to Process as the prerequisite, and recommends level 10 for Wrath of the Ripper Queen (PowerPyx walkthrough, September 11, 2025).

For repeat loot attempts, a separate unofficial legendary guide places Callis at Moon-Called Throne (Borderlands 4 Wiki loot guide). These are different location references: The Stubs is the mission start, while Moon-Called Throne is the location reported for farming. If you are already in later content, use the map marker and confirm the encounter variant in your game rather than assuming the story start and farm location are interchangeable.
What does Callis the Ripper Queen drop?
The Borderlands 4 Wiki guide reports two dedicated weapons for Callis at Moon-Called Throne. A separate video guide gives a longer, uncorroborated community list. Neither list should be treated as an official, complete Callis loot table.

Gearbox’s official update notes do not establish Callis’s full loot pool or any Callis-specific percentage. Treat the listed items as reported possibilities, not guaranteed drops or promises that a particular number of runs will produce one.
How do you farm Callis?
Use Moon-Called Throne as the reported farm location, but do not assume a specific reset method, repurchase cost, or fastest route: the sources cited here do not document those details for Callis. Check the in-game encounter and available options at your current progression point.

- Choose the item first. Juliet’s Sparkle and Queen’s Rest appear on the unofficial loot guide’s Callis list; the additional items appear only in a separate community video list. That distinction matters when deciding whether repeated attempts are worth your time.
- Set difficulty to a level you can clear efficiently. Gearbox’s January 29, 2026 Major Update Notes say Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode levels increase dedicated loot drop levels and that “The higher the level, the higher the chance of dedicated loot dropping!” The update gives no numeric Callis-specific chance, so a higher setting is useful only if you can still defeat the encounter reliably.
- Check your character’s class-mod context. Gearbox’s November 20, 2025 notes say class mods were adjusted to drop more often for the player’s current character. This is a general update, not confirmation that Callis drops a particular class mod.
- Track your own attempts. Since no verified drop percentage or guaranteed payout is available, use what you actually see in your game to decide whether to continue or move to another activity.
Gearbox’s November 2025 update also fixed a multiplayer issue that prevented boss encounter repurchases after all party members died. That note addresses a specific party-wipe problem; it does not document Callis’s current arena reset procedure or establish that a repurchase terminal is present at a particular door.
How do you beat the Ripper Queen?
The available walkthrough covers the story route and objectives, while the official notes cited here do not describe Callis’s attack phases, vulnerabilities, or a tested counter-build. There is not enough sourced information to name a specific weakness or prescribe an encounter-specific loadout. As general looter-shooter preparation—not a verified Callis mechanic—equip gear you can use consistently, keep an eye on your health and ammunition, and adjust your approach to the attacks you observe in your own encounter. Is Callis worth farming?
That depends on the item you want and how quickly you can repeat the encounter at a difficulty you can clear. The sources do not establish Callis’s run time, comparative efficiency against other activities, or a verified drop rate. If you are pursuing one of the weapons on the unofficial guide list, Callis is a reported source; weigh that uncertainty against the travel and repeat-attempt time in your own game. For items appearing only on the longer video list, the source evidence is less firmly corroborated.
