The page identifies the download as a custom Windows theme and lists nine wallpaper subjects, including cyberpunk, festive, detective, robot, racing, sunset, stunt-show, Spike and space-adventure imagery. The page does not document the package’s exact file size, image resolutions, checksum, sounds, cursors, icons or slideshow interval.
What you are downloading
A Windows theme is a personalization package. Microsoft says themes can combine desktop backgrounds, colors, sounds and other appearance settings, and are managed from Settings → Personalization → Themes. That general capability does not prove that this particular Brawl Stars package contains every possible theme component.

The Windows Mode theme directory describes automatic wallpaper rotation, but the individual Brawl Stars page does not specify the rotation interval. Do not assume that custom icons, sounds, cursors, fonts, accent colors or multi-monitor optimization are included.
Is it official?
No official Microsoft or Supercell release is established by the available page. The page is hosted by Windows Mode and presents the item as a custom theme created by its author; it does not provide a Microsoft Store listing, Supercell announcement or licensing statement. Brawl Stars names, characters and artwork belong to their respective rights holders. Downloading a theme does not grant permission to redistribute the artwork.
Download and install on Windows 11
- Open the Windows Mode Brawl Stars theme page and choose its download link. If the browser does not start the download, right-click the link and select Save link as.
- Save the file locally, preferably in Downloads or on the Desktop. The publisher’s identified endpoint is
https://files.oxavi.com/theme-packs/Brawl-Stars-Theme-Pack-by-WindowsMode.com.deskthemepack. Its binary contents and current availability have not been independently verified. - Before opening it, scan the file with Windows Security or another trusted security product. A
.deskthemepackextension alone is not proof that a file is safe. - Confirm that the filename ends in
.deskthemepack, then double-click it. Windows should import or apply the theme. - Open Settings → Personalization → Themes and select the imported Brawl Stars theme if it is not already active.
- Use the available Background, Colors, Sounds and related controls to adjust the result.
Install on Windows 10
Windows Mode lists Windows 10 compatibility, and the broad installation process is the same:

.deskthemepackfile. - Open Settings → Personalization → Themes, or right-click the desktop and choose Personalize.
- Select the imported theme.
Windows 10 may still run the package on an existing installation, but Microsoft support ended on October 14, 2025. It no longer receives ordinary free security updates or technical support, so Windows 11 is the supported target for a new setup.
If the download does not start
- Use Save link as instead of clicking the link normally.
- Try another browser and check its downloads panel for a blocked-file notice.
- Temporarily review extensions that block downloads, without disabling antivirus protection.
- Check the saved filename. An HTML error page may end in
.htmlor.txtrather than.deskthemepack. - Do not rename an
.exe,.msi,.bator.scrfile to make it look like a theme. - If the host returns an error, do not automatically substitute an unknown mirror. Return to the original Windows Mode page later.
If double-clicking does nothing
- Right-click the downloaded file, choose Properties, and confirm the extension is
.deskthemepack. Enable filename extensions in File Explorer if necessary. - Check whether Windows shows an Unblock option. Only use it when you trust the source and have already scanned the file.
- Look in Settings → Personalization → Themes; the package may have imported without becoming active.
- If the file is incomplete, invalid or blocked by security software, delete it and obtain a fresh copy from the original page. Do not disable Microsoft Defender or SmartScreen to force installation.
If Windows reports a security problem that you cannot independently explain, keep the file deleted and use the manual wallpaper method below.
Save your current desktop first
To make the change reversible, open Settings → Personalization → Themes and save the current appearance as a named theme when that option is available. Note your wallpaper, accent color, sound and icon choices. Microsoft also documents saving and exporting a customized theme as a .deskthemepack in its theme guide. A restore point is reasonable if you frequently install third-party customization files.

Customize or undo the theme
After importing, Windows lets you change the background, colors and other available personalization settings independently. Applying a theme can affect more than the wallpaper, so check the result before assuming only the image changed. Microsoft explains how theme-controlled desktop icons such as This PC and Recycle Bin can be managed in its desktop icon guide.
Remove the saved theme
- Open Settings → Personalization → Themes.
- Select a different theme first.
- Right-click the unwanted saved theme and choose Delete.
Windows does not allow its default themes to be deleted.
Safer alternative: make a Brawl Stars wallpaper slideshow
This option avoids importing a third-party theme package and gives you control over the images. Use artwork you are legally allowed to download and use.

- Put the selected images in a dedicated folder.
- Open Settings → Personalization → Background.
- Set Personalize your background to Slideshow and choose the folder.
- Choose the change interval and shuffle setting.
- Open Personalization → Colors and select a matching accent color.
- Leave sounds, cursors and desktop icons unchanged unless you intentionally want to edit them.
Microsoft supports picture, solid-color, slideshow and Windows Spotlight backgrounds; see its background guide. Manual setup is particularly useful when the package is unavailable, antivirus flags it, you want specific characters, or you use monitors with different aspect ratios.

The publisher names Windows 10 and Windows 11, but that is not a guarantee for every future Windows build, high-DPI setting, ultrawide display or multi-monitor arrangement. A wallpaper may appear cropped, stretched or soft at a different aspect ratio. The manual slideshow lets you choose images and presentation settings per your own desktop, while the package’s exact behavior is undocumented.
Safety checklist
- Use the original Windows Mode page or its clearly identified download endpoint.
- Scan the file before opening it.
- Expect a theme file, not an executable installer or password-protected archive.
- Never install “theme activators,” cracked software or icon-patching utilities offered alongside it.
- Do not disable antivirus or SmartScreen merely to complete installation.
- Delete the file if its extension, contents or security warning cannot be explained.
The correct description is an unverified third-party binary theme package; there is not enough evidence to label it malware, and there is also not enough evidence to guarantee its current safety or availability.

Bottom line
For a quick Brawl Stars look on Windows, the Windows Mode .deskthemepack is a plausible ready-made option, provided you treat it as unofficial, scan it and verify the result. It changes Windows personalization; it does not provide Brawl Stars for PC. If provenance, monitor control or reversibility matters more than convenience, create the look with Windows’ built-in slideshow and color controls instead.
