Tune the radio beside it until its waveform matches the background signal, then enter the number sequence the radio plays. Use the sequence from your own game; the available guide does not establish one universal code.
Where to find the Most Wanted safe
- Enter the gala at Capitol Station and head to the restricted area on the right, behind the bar.
- If a guard is blocking the entrance, wait for him to leave. Go through the red-and-yellow curtained area.
- Turn right into the first small room. The radio and safe are together inside.
Guides describe the turn slightly differently: one directs you through the curtained area and into the first room on the right; another describes entering the restricted area from the gala before turning toward the open room. Both place the radio and safe in the restricted gala area. PC Gamer’s safe guide was last updated January 30, 2025, and Game8’s campaign safe guide gives the alternate route description.
How to solve the radio puzzle
- Interact with the radio on the desk.
- Adjust its frequency and amplitude until the waveform matches the background signal.
- Listen as the radio plays a repeating string of numbers.
- Enter that sequence at the safe.
The radio provides the combination for the safe in your playthrough. The cited guide explains how to obtain it but does not verify a fixed code that can be used universally, so follow the numbers you hear rather than relying on an unverified code.
Why open the safe?
Opening the safe is an optional detour from the mission’s main objective: retrieving and rescuing Russell Adler from a CIA black site beneath Capitol Station in Washington, D.C., as described in Blizzard’s mission overview. The campaign uses collected cash for Safehouse upgrades, according to Activision’s campaign support page. Those sources do not state the reward amount for this particular safe.
