When did Black Ops 7 come out?
Xbox Wire’s November 10, 2025 launch overview gives November 14, 2025 as the release date across the platforms it lists. Steam currently displays November 21, 2025 as the game’s PC release date. What platforms is Black Ops 7 on?
Xbox Wire lists Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Xbox on PC, ROG Xbox Ally handhelds, cloud, Battle.net, Steam, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4. Activision’s store groups its supported platform families as Windows, Xbox, and PlayStation. Availability can vary by region and storefront, so check the live listing for the platform and country where you plan to play. Activision’s Black Ops 7 store provides the official product entry.
Xbox Wire identifies the game as an Xbox Play Anywhere title and reported day-one availability with Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. Catalog inclusion and plan terms can change; verify the current Game Pass catalog and subscription details before relying on access through a subscription.

Can you play the Black Ops 7 campaign solo?
Yes. Activision describes the campaign as built for solo play or a squad, so co-op is not required to play the campaign. Xbox Wire presents the campaign and Endgame alongside the game’s multiplayer and Zombies offerings. The official site also lists Dead Ops Arcade 4 and references Warzone in its modes and progression information; these are distinct parts of the broader Call of Duty experience, not additional names for the campaign. Online subscription requirement for co-op
Activision Support says PlayStation Plus or Game Pass Essential is required for social features and all co-op campaign modes other than solo gameplay. If you intend to play with friends, check the current platform-specific terms as well as the subscription status of the account you will use. The requirement is described on Activision’s editions support page.

Which edition should you buy?
Choose the listing for your platform and region, then confirm the edition name and included access on the storefront before checkout. Activision’s edition support page describes offerings that differ by platform. In particular, it says the PlayStation 4 Cross-Gen Bundle includes the PS4 game and a code for a digital PS5 version. Do not assume that every platform’s edition includes the same cross-generation access, or that a specific physical format is currently available: verify the live product description.

Activision’s support hub links to a PC system requirements article marked updated March 11, 2026. Check that current page before buying or troubleshooting; the full hardware table is not reproduced here, so a single component example is not enough to establish whether a PC meets the minimum or recommended specification. Activision’s store page gives an example minimum CPU of AMD Ryzen 5 1600X or Intel Core i7-6700K, but that alone does not specify the complete requirements, including graphics, memory, storage, operating system, or security requirements.
