Black Ops 7’s launch progression runs from level 1 to level 55. The level-gated weapons and the perks specifically identified in the available launch-era references are listed below; weapons omitted from the weapon guide’s level-requirement tables are available immediately. The full level track also includes equipment, field upgrades, scorestreaks, wildcards, operators, features and Zombies items, so use Career > Progression > Level Unlocks in-game to see every current reward. The details here are based on official launch guides from November 2025 and Activision Support guidance dated December 19, 2025; check the live menu for changes made since then.
Weapons unlocked by player level
These are player-level unlocks, not weapon attachment levels. The levels below are the requirements listed in Call of Duty’s November 7, 2025 launch weapons guide. The guide’s launch-era weapon tables treat weapons not listed with a level requirement as available immediately.

Weapons available immediately
The November 2025 weapon guide lists these launch weapons without a player-level requirement: M15 MOD 0, Ryden 45K, MK.78, M10 Breacher, VS Recon, Jager 45, AAROW 109 and Knife. This is a launch-era list, not a guarantee that later seasonal additions follow the same availability.
Perks with confirmed level placements
The following Multiplayer perks are identified at these player levels in the launch-era unlock references. The Multiplayer label matters: do not assume a Multiplayer perk is also a Campaign or Zombies reward.

What else the level track contains
The official November 12, 2025 progression appendix covers more than weapons and perks. It includes equipment, field upgrades, scorestreaks, wildcards, operators, emotes and other features, as well as Zombies Ammo Mods and GobbleGum bonus copies. The available level-by-level details here do not establish a complete row for every such item, so consult the in-game Level Unlocks screen rather than treating the tables above as a full inventory of every reward.
GobbleGums are not first unlocked by the track
All GobbleGums are available from the start. A GobbleGum appearing later in the level track is an extra, one-time-use copy, not the first access to that GobbleGum.

How levels and Prestige affect unlocks
Black Ops 7’s base progression has 55 player levels, from Private I through Commander. The launch progression article says XP can be earned in Co-Op Campaign, Multiplayer and Zombies, with Warzone progression beginning with Season 01. Activision Support’s December 19, 2025 article describes cross-progression through the Activision account across linked platforms.
At level 55
Reaching level 55 lets you choose to enter one of ten Prestige levels. Prestige resets your player level to 1 and relocks most level-track content. Activision Support lists exceptions: Base Operators, emotes, Zombies GobbleGums, items permanently unlocked with tokens, and items covered by an owned blueprint or skin. Weapon progression, camos, reticles, challenge progress and weapon builds are retained, although a locked weapon may need to be unlocked again before its build can be used.

Permanent Unlock tokens
Each Prestige awards one Permanent Unlock token, for ten tokens in total across the ten Prestige levels. A token permanently unlocks one item from the level track, which is why a player may have access to an item before reaching its usual level.

- Open Career in the game menu.
- Select Progression.
- Open Level Unlocks and inspect the live track for your current mode and progression state.
The published progression appendix and weapon guide describe launch-era content. Because seasonal updates can change what appears in the game, the in-game track is the authoritative check for the current version.
