Yes—but one Google Account managing both channels does not mean one stream automatically feeds both. YouTube says a Google Account can manage up to 100 channels, while its Live Streaming API guidance requires a separate stream for each channel. A cloud service can keep playback running, but it must support two distinct YouTube destinations and persistent outputs for your setup.
One Google Account can manage both channels
A Google Account is the sign-in identity; each YouTube channel remains a separate channel identity. YouTube says one Google Account can manage up to 100 channels, and users can switch between them to act as a particular channel. Each channel needs its own live-stream setup
YouTube’s Live Streaming API guidance says that users with multiple channels need a different stream created for each channel. For two simultaneous broadcasts, configure a stream resource and destination for channel A and another for channel B. YouTube describes cloud encoders as a way to send a high-quality live feed to a cloud service for distribution to selected channels, resolutions, or platforms. Its guidance says the process can be repeated for multiple simultaneous YouTube live streams, subject to a limit. That describes the general architecture; it does not certify a particular provider’s ability to run two independent channels continuously or guarantee uninterrupted service. Check YouTube eligibility and concurrency limits
Before configuring a cloud service, check the live-stream eligibility of each channel. YouTube’s current help guidance says a channel must be verified and must have no live-stream restrictions in the past 90 days. It lists limits of up to 10 active streams per channel and 3 active streams per stream key. These are YouTube limits, not a promise that a provider supports two persistent outputs on a given plan. If live streaming has not previously been enabled, YouTube says activation can take at least 24 hours. Allow for that before planning a launch. YouTube Help: get started with live streaming
Set up two continuous broadcasts
- Prepare both channels. Confirm you can act as each channel, verify each one, and check its live-stream eligibility and restriction status in YouTube Studio.
- Create a stream for each channel. In the live control room or the chosen encoder workflow, create or select a stream for channel A, then repeat for channel B. Keep the stream keys and destinations distinct; do not assume switching the Google Account’s active channel configures both.
- Choose the cloud service by its output model. Confirm directly with the provider that the relevant plan can send two simultaneous, persistent outputs to separate YouTube channel stream endpoints. Ask whether it supports looping or scheduling your intended media and what happens after a source, connection, or YouTube interruption.
- Configure and test each destination separately. Enter the correct channel’s stream details for each output, start a test, and verify in the respective YouTube live control rooms that each channel receives the intended content. Check audio, video, and stream status on both before relying on unattended operation.
- Secure the stream keys. Treat each key as a credential: share it only with the service you selected, restrict account access, and reset a key in YouTube if it is exposed. Ask providers how keys are stored and whether account authorization or direct key entry is used.
- Confirm the operating and billing terms. Ask about two-output pricing at your target resolution, continuous playout, automatic recovery, support, and any uptime commitment. Do not infer those terms from a provider’s general claim that it offers cloud streaming.
Copyright and channel policies still apply
Cloud hosting changes where the stream is encoded or relayed; it does not grant permission to broadcast the content. YouTube’s livestream terms require the rights needed for live material, including applicable music rights, and require compliance with its Community Guidelines and applicable agreements. For continuous prerecorded programming, make sure you have the rights to every video, music track, and other element, and consider how repeated material fits YouTube’s monetization policies if monetization matters to you. A cloud service cannot clear copyright or guarantee monetization eligibility.

More generally, evaluate any provider against the same operational questions rather than relying on a broad “multistream” label:
- How many simultaneous YouTube channel destinations are included, and can each output use its own stream resource and key?
- Does the plan provide continuous playout and looping or scheduling for your media?
- Does it recover automatically after a source or network interruption, and what interruptions require manual action?
- What media inputs are permitted, and what is the total cost for two outputs at your desired resolution?
- How are stream keys or account authorizations handled, and what support or uptime commitments are stated?
YouTube notes that cloud encoder services may use subscriptions and that some offer limited free plans. Google Cloud’s Live Stream API is billed by active channel time and resolution; that billing model is not a quote for another provider or a fixed price for two 24/7 outputs. One vendor example, Playout.video, advertises a “24/7 cloud channel” and says it can multistream to YouTube and other platforms. That is the vendor’s claim; the cited page does not establish two independent YouTube channel outputs, uninterrupted operation, or a service guarantee.
