Yes. Rainbow Six Siege supports cross-progression: sign in on PC with the same Ubisoft account linked to your Xbox profile, and eligible saved progress and content can be accessed there. Linking accounts does not automatically give you a PC copy of the game.
How to use your Xbox Siege progress on PC
- Find the Ubisoft account linked to your Xbox profile. Use the account that holds the Siege progression you want. Ubisoft says cross-progression data is associated with the Ubisoft account, not separately with each platform account. Ubisoft’s Siege cross-progression guide explains that saved data can be accessed on another platform when you use the same linked Ubisoft account.
- Check or link the Xbox account. Sign in to Ubisoft Account Information, open Linked accounts, find the Xbox platform, select Link, and follow the prompts. You can also start platform linking by launching a game and signing in to Ubisoft Connect, according to Ubisoft’s account-linking instructions.
- Launch Siege on PC and sign in to that same Ubisoft account. If the game asks you to link an account, make sure it is the one already connected to the Xbox profile with your progress.
- Launch Siege on both Xbox and PC. Ubisoft says both platforms need to launch the game for some in-game content to be shared.
- Check your Locker and currency balances. If expected content is missing, confirm that the game and relevant content are installed correctly; Ubisoft includes this check in its list of shared Siege content.
Pause before unlinking an account
Do not unlink accounts just to try a different Ubisoft login. Ubisoft warns that linking or unlinking external accounts can permanently affect games and subscriptions. If the Xbox profile is already linked to another Ubisoft account, Ubisoft says only the same platform account originally connected can be relinked; connecting it to a different Ubisoft account requires contacting Ubisoft Support. Ubisoft’s guidance does not establish a way to merge Siege progress between separate Ubisoft accounts.
What Siege progress and content can carry over?
Ubisoft’s current support list identifies these items as shareable across platforms:
- Alpha Packs, Bravo Packs, and Event Packs
- Boosters
- Operators and their customizations
- Gear and weapon customizations
- Battle Pass rewards and tokens
- R6 Credits and Renown
Ubisoft cautions that not all content carries over, so do not assume every purchase, entitlement, or platform-specific item will appear on PC. A 2022 Ubisoft synchronization post gives more detail on how shared Renown, credits, packs, operators, cosmetics, and boosters were handled at that time; for the current shareable-item list, use the newer support article linked above.

Do you have to buy Siege again on PC?
Possibly. Account linking makes eligible progression available on linked platforms where you own the game; it does not transfer an Xbox game license to PC. Ubisoft’s general cross-progression guidance notes that playing on multiple platforms may require purchasing the game more than once.
Cross-progression is not crossplay
Cross-progression is about using eligible saved progress and content across platforms with the same Ubisoft account. Crossplay is about matchmaking with players on other platforms; linking an account does not, by itself, determine who you will be matched with. Ubisoft’s Siege support describes crossplay settings as different on PC and consoles, while its Y7S4 crossplay update described PC and streaming players as being in a separate matchmaking pool from console players. Those matchmaking details are dated, so check current in-game settings or Ubisoft Support for current rules.

If your progress does not appear on PC
- Verify that the Ubisoft account signed in on PC is the one linked to the Xbox profile that has the Siege progress.
- Launch the game on both platforms, then check the Locker and currency balances.
- Confirm Siege and the relevant content are installed correctly.
- If the Xbox account is already linked to a different Ubisoft account, contact Ubisoft Support rather than unlinking it casually.
