Wowza’s current product documentation calls the service Wowza Video and describes a “Loop video” option that keeps one valid MP4 playing as a live source until you stop it or a schedule does. The available documentation does not establish that Wowza Video can send a multi-file playlist directly to YouTube Live. Verify the current YouTube destination workflow in your account before relying on it.
What Wowza Video can loop
Wowza Video documents a workflow for selecting a valid MP4 recording and enabling Loop video. The selected file continues playing until you stop the stream or a schedule stops it. That supports a single prerecorded video presented as a live stream, not a documented playlist of separate files. See Wowza’s current guide to streaming a video as live.
A separate advanced transcoder property, Play source file on a loop, is documented as false by default. When enabled, it can keep the transcoder running and accruing charges until you stop it manually; Wowza also describes using a schedule to stop it. See Wowza’s file-streaming guide.
Does that mean it can play a playlist on YouTube Live?
No—not on the evidence established by the current Wowza Video guides. They describe looping a source file, but do not confirm a multi-file playlist control or verify the current direct destination setup from Wowza Video to YouTube Live. Check Wowza’s current destination options and your account configuration before building a workflow around YouTube delivery.

Wowza Streaming Engine is a different product. Its documentation describes publishing a file or an M3U8 playlist as a live stream and configuring playlist repetition. That capability should not be assumed to exist in Wowza Video: Wowza Streaming Engine: publish a video file as a live stream.
Options if you have several clips
Combine the clips into one MP4
A Wowza Community response suggests combining multiple videos into one MP4 for a playlist-like result in Wowza Video. Treat this as community guidance, not confirmation of an officially supported multi-file playlist feature: VOD on Playlist as LIVE. The resulting file can then fit the documented single-source looping workflow, subject to verifying YouTube delivery in your current setup.

Use Wowza Streaming Engine for its documented playlist workflow
If separate files and repeat behavior are essential, Streaming Engine’s documentation is the Wowza source that specifically covers an M3U8 playlist. Confirm that its workflow and your intended YouTube destination meet your needs; the documentation cited here does not establish current Wowza Video-to-YouTube compatibility.
Control runtime and billing
Do not leave a looping transcoder running unintentionally. Wowza says the loop property can override idle timeout, so the transcoder continues running and accruing charges until manually stopped. Use a stop schedule or stop the stream yourself when the broadcast should end. The available guidance does not state a price, so check current Wowza account pricing for your configuration.
