As of October 4, 2026, no reviewed source confirms a $100-off Nintendo Switch 2 console deal for Black Friday. The best verified option is an announced bundle, not a $100 console markdown: Nintendo lists the Switch 2 with Nintendo Switch Sports Resort for $529.99, available October 22, and says the bundle saves $27.98 versus buying its components separately. To find a genuine $100 saving, compare live checkout prices for the same products and count bundle items only if you would buy them anyway.
What Switch 2 deal is actually confirmed?
Nintendo of America’s Retail offers page lists a Nintendo Switch 2 + Nintendo Switch Sports Resort bundle for $529.99, available October 22, 2026. Nintendo calculates $27.98 in savings against the manufacturers’ suggested retail prices of the separate items, but says actual savings may vary. Availability is limited, and participating retailers provide their own details. That is a bundle-value comparison—not evidence that the console itself is $100 cheaper.

A GamesRadar+ roundup published October 2 listed a $499.99 Switch 2 console price snapshot at retailers. It is editorial deal coverage, not a guaranteed Black Friday price or a promise that every retailer has stock at that price. Check the live listing and checkout total before comparing it with a bundle.
How to tell whether an offer really saves you $100
- Compare like with like. A console-only offer should be measured against the same console-only product. For a bundle, compare its price with the console and the exact included game or membership bought separately.
- Calculate the total you would pay. Check the current checkout price, shipping, applicable tax, and any membership or payment requirement. A gift card or bundled item is not equivalent to cash off unless you will actually use it.
- Check the bundle’s stated comparison. Nintendo’s $27.98 figure uses separate manufacturers’ suggested retail prices; the company says actual savings may vary. The comparison may not match the prices you can get from other sellers.
- Save the offer details. Note the retailer, seller, time checked, stock status, expiration date, and return policy. Deal listings can change quickly, and a marketplace seller may have different terms from the retailer itself.
Can a Nintendo coupon get you the difference?
Nintendo Support says it does not offer coupons for retailer purchases, giving hardware bought through GameStop as an example. Its statement concerns Nintendo coupons; it does not rule out retailer promotions or payment-card offers. Do not assume a Nintendo coupon will reduce a retailer’s console price.

What past Black Friday deals can—and cannot—tell you
Nintendo of Canada’s November 12, 2024 announcement described holiday offers on older Switch products, including bundles with stated savings over $100 and discounts on select games and controllers. Those promotions show that Nintendo holiday offers have existed, but they do not establish a 2026 Switch 2 price cut. The announcement also said offer timing varied by retailer and stock.

Best Buy Canada’s Black Friday page says its sale returns in November 2026, but that Canadian landing page does not confirm a Switch 2 offer, and it is not evidence of US availability. Treat retailer sale calendars as a cue to check back, not as proof of a specific console deal.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Does an accessory discount count toward the $100?
No: an accessory deal lowers the cost of an accessory, not the Switch 2 console. GamesRadar+ listed a SanDisk 512GB microSD Express Card for Switch 2 at $159.99 at Amazon, reduced from $199.99. That may help someone who needs storage, but verify compatibility, seller, stock, and live price; do not add the accessory discount to a claimed console saving.
