One free scan finds every outdated or missing driver and matches the right update for your exact hardware.Free scan · exact hardware matchNot reliably—not unless you have the necessary rights for the specific recordings and compositions, and any required YouTube Content ID allowlisting. YouTube scans live streams for third-party matches and can interrupt or terminate a stream. A Creator Music license does not cover livestreams. A copyright claim, a live interruption, and a takedown are different outcomes, but none can be ruled out just because a stream runs continuously or you own the song.
Why 24/7 Bollywood music streams can be interrupted
YouTube says it scans all live streams for matches to third-party content, including copyrighted material in another live broadcast. If it detects a match, it may display a warning and replace the stream with a placeholder image. If the material remains, YouTube may temporarily interrupt or terminate the stream. A copyright or Community Guidelines strike can also result in a live stream being terminated. See YouTube’s live-stream copyright guidance.
There is no special exemption for a 24/7 stream, a music channel, or Bollywood songs as a genre. Whether a particular song can be used depends on the exact recording and composition, who controls the relevant rights, the territories covered, and whether the permission covers continuous live streaming. The platform’s rules do not establish the status or licensing terms of any particular Bollywood track.
What permission you need before broadcasting a song
YouTube’s Terms of Service require the provider to have the necessary rights to exploit live content through Google services. For music, that can involve rights and approvals from artists, record labels, publishers—including public-performance licensing—and other royalty participants. Applicable licenses must cover the territories in which the stream is available.

Before putting a commercial track into a continuous livestream, identify the exact recording and composition and confirm that your permission covers each relevant right, every intended territory, continuous live use, and any archived replay. The agreements for the specific music determine what is needed; permission for one use does not automatically clear every right or territory.
Ask about YouTube Content ID allowlisting
Even if you have licensed third-party music, YouTube says the rights owner may need to add your channel to its Content ID allowlist. Without that, your live stream can still be interrupted. Ask the rights owner whether allowlisting is required and confirm it applies to the channel you will use. YouTube explains this in its live-stream guidance.

Keep documentation for the exact use
Keep the license, written approvals, territory and duration details, and any allowlisting confirmation together. Make sure they identify the music and channel clearly enough to establish permission for the planned live use. Documentation helps you understand and substantiate your rights; it does not itself prevent an automated match or guarantee uninterrupted streaming.
Creator Music does not license a YouTube livestream
YouTube’s Creator Music usage details say its licensing and revenue-sharing tracks are for long-form videos, not Shorts or live streams. Track terms can vary, and using some tracks may still lead to a Content ID claim or copyright removal request. Creator Music therefore is not a route to licensing commercial Bollywood tracks for a 24/7 live broadcast.

Claims, live interruptions, and takedowns are different
| Outcome | What it means | What to know for a livestream |
|---|---|---|
| Content ID claim | A rights holder’s policy may monetize, track, or block a video; policies can vary by geography. | Claims usually affect videos rather than the channel or account, but YouTube also scans live streams and may interrupt them under its live rules. If the stream is archived, YouTube says Content ID claims are made after the livestream is complete. |
| Live interruption or termination | YouTube may interrupt or end a live broadcast when detected third-party content remains, or in other circumstances specified in its live-stream rules. | This can happen during the broadcast, including when a creator has licensed music but the channel has not been allowlisted. |
| Copyright removal request and strike | A takedown is distinct from a Content ID claim and can result in a copyright strike. | A live stream may also be terminated if the channel receives a copyright or Community Guidelines strike. |
See YouTube’s explanations of Content ID claims and copyright removal requests and strikes. A claim’s effect depends on the rights holder’s policy and the relevant geography; do not assume that an archived video’s outcome predicts what will happen to the live broadcast.
Safer choices for continuous music programming
Use commercial Bollywood music only after clearance
Choose this route only when you have confirmed the rights for the exact recordings and compositions, the territories, continuous live use, archive use if applicable, and any required allowlisting. If a music rights service offers licensing, verify that its agreement actually covers those specifics; a general promise of “copyright-free” music or a license for another platform or format is not enough to establish that it covers your YouTube livestream.

Use music with documented rights for your intended use
Alternatively, use music for which you can document suitable rights and platform permission. Eligible YouTube Audio Library music may be an option when its applicable license covers the intended use. Check the actual terms for each track and whether they cover livestreaming and any archive; do not treat availability in a library as proof that every use is permitted.
Do not rely on credit, purchase, or a dispute as permission
Giving credit to an artist or label and owning a copy of a song do not, by themselves, establish permission to broadcast it. YouTube says neither is a valid reason on its own to dispute a copyright claim. A dispute is appropriate only when you have the necessary rights, believe a valid copyright exception applies, or believe the match is mistaken—not as a tactic to keep unlicensed music playing. See YouTube’s claim-dispute guidance.

If YouTube claims an archived livestream
After a livestream ends, YouTube may make a Content ID claim on its archived video. For a claimed video, YouTube lists trimming the claimed segment, replacing the song with eligible YouTube Audio Library audio, or muting the claimed audio as possible editing options. These are post-claim remedies for the archive, not permission to use the song in a live broadcast. YouTube says edits saved starting in June 2025 cannot be reverted. Check YouTube’s guidance on removing claimed content before making an edit.
Troubleshooting a warning or interruption
- You receive a warning or the stream shows a placeholder: YouTube may have detected third-party content. Follow the on-screen guidance and remove the detected content if you cannot verify that the stream is authorized; leaving it in place can lead to interruption or termination.
- You have a license but the stream is still interrupted: Ask the rights owner whether your channel must be allowlisted through Content ID, then confirm that the correct channel was added. YouTube says licensing alone may not prevent interruption without allowlisting.
- The archive receives a claim after the live ends: Review the claim and its policy, then use an available editing option only if it suits your needs. A claim on the archive is distinct from what happened during the live broadcast.
- You think a claim is mistaken or you have rights: Review YouTube’s dispute criteria and proceed only if you have a valid basis. Credit, owning a copy, or wanting the stream to continue is not enough on its own.
