Yes on some TVs and streaming devices, and on computers through Netflix.com in Chrome or Edge; console Netflix apps are documented for video, not games. TV players use a phone or tablet as the controller. Netflix describes TV and computer gaming as a beta experience, and availability depends on country, device and title.
Which devices can play Netflix games?
| Platform | Can you play Netflix games? | How you play |
|---|---|---|
| Supported TV or streaming device | Yes, where the Games option is available. | Use a phone or tablet as the controller for each player. |
| Computer | Yes, through Netflix.com in Chrome or Edge for titles with a Play Game button. | Use keyboard and mouse/trackpad or, depending on the game, a phone or tablet. |
| PlayStation or Xbox | Netflix documents video playback on some consoles, but its cited support pages do not establish game support. | Console Netflix video compatibility should not be taken as evidence that Netflix games run there. |
Netflix distinguishes its mobile games, which are downloaded and played on phones or tablets, from the games experience on TVs and in computer browsers. Not every title in the mobile catalog is available on a TV or computer. Netflix’s live Games on Netflix article describes TV and computer play as a beta experience and says it is not available everywhere.
How to play on a TV or streaming device
- Open the Netflix app on the TV or streaming device and choose a profile.
- Look for Games near the top of the screen, then choose an available game.
- When the TV displays a QR code, scan it with each player’s phone or tablet to use it as that player’s controller.
Netflix says physical gamepads and other controllers are not supported for this TV experience. For an iPhone or iPad, Netflix specifies iOS or iPadOS 17 or later and the Netflix Game Controller app. Android players may be asked to install the Netflix app. The TV’s original remote does not replace the phone or tablet controller described in Netflix’s setup instructions.
Check TV compatibility
The Netflix app must be installed, and the TV or streaming device must be supported. Netflix says games are available on many recent TV models, not all devices. To check a device, open Manage Access and Devices and use the Show devices compatible with games toggle. A compatible TV may need a software update if Games is missing.

How to play on a computer
- Go to Netflix.com in Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.
- Choose a profile and look for Games.
- Open a title that displays Play Game. Use keyboard and mouse or trackpad, or a phone or tablet if that game offers mobile-controller input.
If the browser shows only mobile games, check whether the feature is available in your country and whether you are using Chrome or Edge; updating the browser may also help. A title without a Play Game button may be mobile-only.
Why Netflix games may not appear
- Country access: The TV and computer beta is not available everywhere. Netflix’s Help Center listed Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Poland, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the United States when checked on October 7, 2026. The list can change; check the live Netflix Help Center page for current availability.
- Device support: A Netflix video app on a TV or streaming device does not by itself mean games are supported. Check Netflix’s compatible-device guidance and device list.
- Software or browser: A TV may need a manufacturer software update. On a computer, use Chrome or Edge and update the browser if needed.
- Title availability: Some games are mobile-only. On a computer, look for Play Game to identify a browser-playable title.
- Connection: Netflix recommends a stable internet connection with download speeds of 10 Mbps or higher. This is a recommendation, not a guaranteed minimum; the live help page does not state a publication year for it.
Does Netflix charge extra for games?
Netflix says games are included with membership, with no ads, additional fee or in-app purchases. You will need a phone or tablet for each TV player if you do not already have a suitable device; Netflix does not support substituting a physical gamepad.
