Not officially. As of August 2026, Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket has no documented native Windows or macOS version. Pokémon officially supports the game on iPhone, iPad and Android devices. A Windows user may be able to run the Android app in an emulator, but that is an unofficial workaround with no guaranteed compatibility. If you want a Pokémon card game with a supported PC client, use the separate Pokémon TCG Live.
What platforms officially support Pokémon TCG Pocket?
The official Pokémon TCG Pocket site presents the game as an iOS and Android title. Pokémon’s current support requirements list mobile specifications, not Windows or macOS requirements:
- iPhone X or later
- iOS 15 or later, or iPadOS 15 or later
- At least 3 GB of RAM
- Android 7.0 or later
- 64-bit Android with Vulkan support
- Snapdragon 845-level or comparable graphics performance
Meeting those specifications still does not guarantee compatibility with every phone. They also are not PC requirements. No official native Pocket client for Windows or macOS is documented.
Can Google Play Games run Pocket on Windows?
Google Play Games on PC supports selected Android games, not every title in Google Play. Search for Pokémon TCG Pocket in the current Google Play Games catalog; install it there only if Google marks it as available for PC. Pokémon’s documentation does not establish Pocket as an officially supported Google Play Games title.

Google’s general minimum requirements for its PC platform are Windows 10 (version 2004 or newer), an SSD with 10 GB of free space, 8 GB of RAM, four physical CPU cores, Intel UHD Graphics 630-class graphics or better, an administrator account and hardware virtualization. Those requirements apply to Google Play Games itself and do not prove that Pocket will install or run.
Can an Android emulator run Pokémon TCG Pocket?
Possibly, mainly on Windows. Some players try Android emulators such as BlueStacks, MuMu Player or LDPlayer, but emulator use is not an official Pokémon release or support path. A game update can break a working setup, and the app may fail compatibility checks, authentication or graphics initialization even when the physical PC is powerful.
If you accept those limitations, use this cautious workflow:
- On your original phone or tablet, link your Pocket account before experimenting. Open Menu → Other → Account, then choose Nintendo Account, Google Account or (on iOS) Apple Account.
- Download an emulator only from its vendor’s official website. Enable hardware virtualization if the emulator requires it.
- Sign in to Google Play inside the emulator and install Pocket from the official Google Play listing.
- Launch the game and use its account-linking option to access existing data. Do not start a separate unlinked save if you intend to keep your collection.
- If it fails, update the emulator, graphics drivers, Google Play services and browser components. If problems continue, return to a supported iOS or Android device.
Do not sideload modified or “unlocked” APKs. The official listing is free to install with in-app purchases; entering account or payment details into an unofficial APK site adds avoidable security risk. Pokémon Support can address account or game issues, but it may not be able to troubleshoot a particular emulator.
Will progress transfer from my phone to a PC?
There is no official PC client to receive a Pocket transfer. An emulator should be treated as another Android environment, not as a supported Windows edition. Using the same Google address for the emulator does not automatically guarantee that your phone’s save appears.

Pokémon’s account and data-transfer FAQ says linked data can be shared across devices, but the same save data cannot be used simultaneously. It also says save data cannot be merged. Link the original account first, use the same account type on the second device, and avoid creating a new save that you later expect Pokémon to combine with the old one.
What about a Mac or Chromebook?
There is no documented macOS version of Pocket. Unofficial Android solutions on Mac depend on the Mac’s processor (Intel or Apple silicon), operating-system version, emulator architecture and graphics support. A Windows emulator guide should not be assumed to work on either type of Mac.
Similarly, an Android-capable Chromebook is not automatically an officially supported Pocket device. Pokémon’s published requirements do not promise compatibility with ChromeOS or particular Chromebook models. Treat Chromebook play as unverified unless current official support materials explicitly list your device.
Do not confuse Pocket with Pokémon TCG Live

Pokémon TCG Live is the official route if your priority is a Pokémon card game on Windows or macOS. It is a separate game, with different progression, cards, systems and gameplay; it is not the PC edition of Pocket.

Pocket is missing from the emulator’s Play Store
Region, an uncertified virtual device, a 32-bit Android image, missing Vulkan support or compatibility filtering can hide the listing. Try a current 64-bit Android instance and updated emulator software. Do not solve the problem by downloading an unverified APK.

The app installs but crashes
Graphics incompatibility, an emulator update, insufficient virtual memory, virtualization settings or a game update may be responsible. Update the emulator and GPU driver, try a supported 64-bit image, and compare behavior on a real Android device.

Embedded browser, Chrome/WebView, cookies or Google Play services may be malfunctioning. Update those components and retry. Avoid repeatedly creating new accounts or unlinking data while troubleshooting.
The game says the device is incompatible
That message may describe the emulator’s virtual device rather than the capability of your physical PC. A different virtual device might help, but there is no guarantee; a supported phone or tablet is the reliable fallback.
My collection appears to be missing
Check that the original save was linked and that you signed in with the identical Nintendo, Google or Apple account. Do not merge or overwrite saves casually: Pokémon states that save data cannot be merged.
Which option should you choose?
- Want Pocket specifically? Use a supported iOS or Android device. A Windows emulator is a risk-managed experiment, not official support.
- Need a native PC client? Install Pokémon TCG Live for Windows or macOS.
- Have valuable progress or purchases? Link the Pocket account first and do not run the same save simultaneously on two devices.
- Considering Google Play Games? Check whether Pocket is actually listed for PC; Google’s platform requirements alone are not evidence of support.
Bottom line
Official Pocket on PC: no. Unofficial Android emulation on Windows: possibly, with changing compatibility and account risks. Native Pokémon card game on Windows or Mac: yes—Pokémon TCG Live. For Pocket, the safest route remains an officially supported iOS or Android device with your account linked before changing devices.
