What controller support Nintendo documents for Wonder
Nintendo’s controller setup instructions for Super Mario Bros. Wonder begin by launching the game from the console HOME Menu. After choosing the number of players, players select the controller type:
- One Joy-Con: Hold it horizontally and press SL and SR.
- Two Joy-Con controllers: Hold them vertically and press L and R.
- Nintendo Switch Pro Controller: Press L and R.
These are instructions for the game’s console controller-selection flow, not steps for running it on a PC.
Does Super Mario Bros. Wonder have a PC version?
The official Super Mario Bros. Wonder site presents the game as a Nintendo Switch title. The official pages reviewed do not establish a Windows PC edition or an official PC setup route. That finding describes the published information reviewed as of October 7, 2026; it does not predict whether Nintendo might announce another platform in the future.

Set up a Switch Pro Controller for a supported PC game
Steam lists official Nintendo Switch Pro Controllers among the controller types it supports. This general PC setup can help with a PC game that runs on your computer; it does not install, unlock, or run Wonder on PC.
- Connect the Switch Pro Controller to your computer, wired or wirelessly.
- Open Steam’s controller settings and check that Steam recognizes the controller. Steam’s controller support information covers supported controller types.
- Check that Steam Input is enabled for Switch Pro Controllers. Steam’s options and labels may change over time.
- Launch the supported PC game through Steam. If its controls are mapped incorrectly, open that game’s controller layout and adjust or select a suitable layout.
For a non-Steam PC game, adding it to the Steam library may let you use Steam’s controller configuration, as described in this PC Gamer guide to using a Switch Pro Controller on PC. That workaround concerns controller configuration for supported PC games; it does not establish compatibility with Wonder.
