Not reliably in unmodded Skyrim. The available community answers conflict, and a spouse’s death is not established as a guaranteed reset that lets you marry again. On PC, players have posted console-command workarounds; mods offer more explicit remarriage options. Back up your save before changing quest state, and check mod compatibility for your game edition and platform.
Does a spouse’s death let you remarry in vanilla Skyrim?
There is no reliably established vanilla route to another wedding simply because your spouse died. Community answers disagree, and the more detailed remedy describes changing quest and faction state with PC console commands rather than using a normal in-game dialogue option. Do not assume that putting on an Amulet of Mara will make marriage dialogue available again. The community answers discussing remarriage are not official Bethesda support guidance.
What can you do?
On PC: consider the community console-command workaround
One community answer proposes selecting the deceased spouse, removing marriage faction membership, resetting marriage quests, setting a quest stage, and waiting 24 hours. The commands it gives are:

setstage 74793 10This is a community-posted, version-sensitive intervention, not an official procedure. Make a separate save before trying it and verify that the instructions match your game version and situation. The same Q&A page contains differing advice, and another recipe should not be silently treated as interchangeable with this one.

Use a mod that adds remarriage
Two Nexus Mods listings describe features beyond the vanilla marriage system:
- Marriage Mod – To Have And To Hold describes remarriage mechanics and marriage-related bug fixes. Its listing warns that its Special Edition conversion is untested.
- Multiple Marriages SSE describes multiple-marriage functionality and clearing marriage or housing slots when a spouse dies.
These are mod features, not evidence that vanilla Skyrim allows remarriage. Before installing either, check the listing for the current game edition, platform, dependencies, compatibility notes, and load-order guidance.

On console: check what your platform supports
The cited command workaround is for PC. The available sources do not establish an equivalent console-player workaround. Mods may be an option where your platform and edition support them, but do not assume a particular Nexus listing is available for your console.
How ordinary marriage works
The usual marriage process involves speaking with Maramal at the Temple of Mara in Riften and using an Amulet of Mara. That describes the normal path to marriage; it does not show that the same path becomes available again after a spouse dies. Finding mods through Skyrim’s Creations menu
Bethesda’s December 5, 2023 Special Edition Creations update notes say that players can browse and download community-made content through the in-game Creations menu. Those notes explain the menu; they do not confirm that either marriage mod above is currently listed there or compatible with every platform.
