Yes. You can access the same Pokémon HOME account on multiple Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 consoles by using the Nintendo Account linked to that HOME account on each console. The main exception is mobile: the account can be accessed from only one smart device at a time.
How to use the same Pokémon HOME account on another Switch
Nintendo ties a Pokémon HOME account to one Nintendo Account. Once HOME is linked, use that same Nintendo Account on every Switch or Switch 2 where you want to open the account. Nintendo says access is supported across multiple consoles, including an example with two Switch 2 consoles and one Switch console. Nintendo Support’s Pokémon HOME FAQ explains the multi-console access rule.
- On each console, make sure the user profile you use is associated with the Nintendo Account linked to your Pokémon HOME account.
- Open the Nintendo Switch version of Pokémon HOME. The account’s HOME Boxes are associated with the linked Nintendo Account.
Using HOME on another console is different from moving or synchronizing a Pokémon game’s save file. Nintendo’s FAQ confirms HOME access on multiple consoles and access to compatible save data on a console, but it does not say that game progress is copied or synced between consoles.
What happens with Pokémon HOME on mobile?
The multi-console allowance does not apply to smart devices. Nintendo says one HOME account can be accessed from one smart device and multiple Switch or Switch 2 consoles. Moving access to another smart device removes access from the previous one; Pokémon Support also says two mobile devices cannot share the same HOME data through one Nintendo Account. To see the same Boxes in the mobile and console versions, complete console setup with the intended Nintendo Account, then link that same account during the mobile app’s first-time setup. Pokémon Support warns that if you set up the mobile app with a different account, you may not be able to link the intended account afterward. Follow Pokémon Support’s setup instructions.
Does one Pokémon HOME account work with multiple Nintendo Accounts?
No. A Pokémon HOME account can be linked to only one Nintendo Account at a time. Using HOME on several consoles does not merge Boxes from different Nintendo Accounts. Check Nintendo’s FAQ on linking HOME to a Nintendo Account before setting up another account.

Do you need to pay for Pokémon HOME twice?
No. Nintendo says a Premium Plan associated with the Nintendo Account is available on linked Switch and mobile versions; Pokémon Support likewise says the paid plan can be purchased in either version and used on both platforms. A Premium Plan is not required to transfer Pokémon on Switch or Switch 2, and Nintendo Switch Online is not required to use HOME. See Pokémon Support’s Premium Plan FAQ.
Can Pokémon HOME access another player’s game save on the same console?
Nintendo says anyone who can access HOME on a console can transfer Pokémon to and from compatible save data belonging to other players on that console. This does not mean you should handle another player’s Pokémon without permission; Nintendo explicitly cautions against transferring them without consent. The rule concerns compatible save data available on that console, not automatic sharing or copying of game progress between consoles. Nintendo’s FAQ provides the details.

What if you linked the wrong Nintendo Account?
Pokémon Support says that if you have purchased Premium and/or synchronized the mobile and Switch versions, you will be unable to change the Nintendo Account linked to that HOME account. Its recovery guidance also warns that deleting the mobile app removes app-saved data and history. Review the current Pokémon HOME account-linking recovery instructions carefully before deleting or reinstalling the app.

Nintendo confirms access from multiple Switch and Switch 2 consoles, but its FAQ does not specify whether the same account can be active or used on two consoles simultaneously. Check current Nintendo or Pokémon Support guidance for your particular situation rather than assuming concurrent use is supported.
