Yes—but only select PC games. Microsoft Store and PC Game Pass support on Boosteroid launched on March 7, 2024, so this is an established feature, not a new rollout. To play, you need a supported Microsoft PC-game entitlement and a separate Boosteroid membership. It is not the same service as Xbox Cloud Gaming, and a Game Pass subscription does not make the entire catalog available on Boosteroid.
What Game Pass support on Boosteroid means
Boosteroid streams eligible PC games from its own cloud hardware. For Microsoft games, the integration covers supported PC titles available through the Microsoft Store that you own or can access through PC Game Pass or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. Microsoft’s March 7, 2024 announcement set out that access model and the launch procedure.
You still need Boosteroid separately. Game Pass supplies the game entitlement; it does not pay for Boosteroid or turn Boosteroid into Microsoft’s cloud-gaming service. The two companies’ broader partnership was announced in 2023, but Microsoft Store and Game Pass access on Boosteroid arrived in 2024.

- A supported game: Check Boosteroid’s current Library → Xbox section. A game being in Game Pass does not establish that Boosteroid supports it.
- The PC entitlement: Have PC Game Pass, Ultimate, or a Microsoft Store purchase for the supported PC version. Owning a console edition alone does not necessarily grant the PC version.
- A Boosteroid membership: This is a separate subscription, even if you already pay for Game Pass.
- A supported device and workable connection: Boosteroid advertises browser and app access across device categories, but exact compatibility varies by device and region. Check its current product and compatibility information.
Microsoft’s PC Game Pass page lists Windows 10/11 version 22H2 or higher for the Xbox PC app used for local PC play. That requirement should not be mistaken for a Boosteroid streaming-device requirement; Boosteroid runs the game remotely. Microsoft also cautions that Game Pass titles and availability vary by region, plan, platform, and time.

How to start a supported game
- Create or sign in to a Boosteroid account and activate a Boosteroid membership.
- Open Boosteroid on a supported device.
- Go to Library → Xbox.
- Select a listed game and choose Play.
- Sign in to the Microsoft account that has the eligible Game Pass membership or owns the Microsoft Store PC game.
- Confirm the account if prompted, then start streaming.
Boosteroid announced Xbox single sign-on for linked accounts on June 17, 2025. It can reduce repeated Microsoft login prompts for supported Xbox PC titles, but it does not add games to the catalog or replace either membership or the game entitlement. See Boosteroid’s single sign-on announcement.

This is the launch list, not a guarantee of the current complete catalog. Boosteroid’s supported selection can change, and Microsoft says Game Pass availability varies over time and by region, plan, and platform. Before subscribing for a particular game, check that exact title in Boosteroid’s live Xbox library and confirm that the listing uses the Microsoft Store version you can access.

For a U.S. reader, Microsoft’s April 21, 2026 pricing update lists PC Game Pass at $13.99 per month and Ultimate at $22.99 per month. These are U.S. prices; taxes, offers, region, and later price changes can alter the amount. Boosteroid charges separately. Its January 21, 2026 pricing update lists Ultra at €12.89 monthly or from €7.49 per month with annual billing, and a €49.89 six-month Ultra Pro offer stated to run until September 1, 2026. Those Boosteroid figures are euro-denominated, and plan pricing varies by billing term and region.

The price references above are not directly comparable without accounting for currency, billing period, taxes, and regional offers. If Boosteroid annual billing is under consideration, first verify that the games you want are listed and that streaming works well from your location.
Boosteroid and Xbox Cloud Gaming are different services

Choose based on the specific game and the service that supports it in your region, not on the assumption that one catalog mirrors the other. Microsoft’s Game Pass listing describes plan benefits; its separate Xbox Cloud Gaming page covers Microsoft’s streaming service.

When this setup is useful—and when it is not
It may suit you if
- Your PC is too weak for a supported game, or you want to avoid its local download and updates.
- You want to stream a supported Microsoft PC title on a device that Boosteroid supports.
- You already have the relevant Microsoft entitlement and consider the additional Boosteroid cost worthwhile.
It may not suit you if
- You expect every Game Pass title to appear in Boosteroid.
- You need offline play, broad mod support, or the low latency of local hardware.
- You want only a single subscription, or you are buying Ultimate solely to use Boosteroid.
- Your desired title depends on a launcher, account, anti-cheat system, or peripheral that is not supported in the cloud setup.
Streaming quality depends on more than download speed: server distance, latency, jitter, packet loss, routing, Wi-Fi congestion, device performance, and server load can all matter. Boosteroid advertises browser play and no local game downloads, but that does not guarantee a queue-free or low-latency session in every location.

Fix common access and performance problems
The game is in Game Pass but not in Boosteroid
Game Pass availability does not guarantee Boosteroid compatibility. Look in Library → Xbox and check the specific game listing. If it is absent, another Game Pass plan will not by itself add Boosteroid support.

The game asks for an account or says you do not own it
Check that you signed in with the Microsoft account holding the entitlement, and that the entitlement covers the PC version. If you bought the game on Steam or Epic, that is a different storefront entitlement and may require a separate Boosteroid listing and matching account.
You own the Xbox console version
Do not assume that console ownership includes a Microsoft Store PC license. Confirm that you have access to the PC version through a qualifying subscription or purchase.
You are prompted to sign in repeatedly
If available for your account and game, link the Xbox account for single sign-on. This can streamline authentication; it will not resolve a missing entitlement or unsupported title.

Availability rules apply at both Microsoft and Boosteroid. Check the regional listings for each service rather than relying on a game list from another country.
The stream stutters or feels delayed
- Use Ethernet or strong 5-GHz/6-GHz Wi-Fi where available.
- Pause downloads, VPNs, video streams, and other bandwidth-heavy activity on the network.
- Try a different time of day and, if Boosteroid offers a choice, a nearby server location.
- Lower the stream resolution or quality if the controls are available.
- Test another supported device or browser, then see whether the problem affects one title or all games.
- Contact Boosteroid support if the issue persists.
Alternatives to consider
- Xbox Cloud Gaming: A natural option if the game is in Microsoft’s cloud catalog and you already have an eligible plan. It is not a replacement for a PC title missing from that catalog.
- NVIDIA GeForce NOW: Another cloud provider that supports selected PC games and storefronts. Game support and account-linking rules differ, so check its title list rather than assuming Game Pass access transfers automatically.
- Local PC or gaming handheld: Avoids streaming latency and supports offline play, but requires capable hardware, installation, and updates.
- Buying the game: May make sense for a long-term player who does not want Game Pass, but Boosteroid still requires its own membership for streaming there.
