Check the code for look-alike characters, then check Roblox Credit in a browser if you saw a success message but no balance in the app. Roblox’s standard mobile app and consoles do not support gift-card redemption.
Redeem the card in a supported place
- Open Roblox.com/redeem in a web browser.
- Sign in to the Roblox account that should receive the card’s value. Check the username before continuing.
- Enter the PIN or code and select Redeem. Roblox says a confirmation message appears when credit or an item is added.
The documented app-based exception is the Roblox app on Samsung Galaxy devices: open More and select the Redeem tile. The standard Roblox mobile app and consoles do not support redemption. Roblox Support: How to redeem and spend your Gift Card.
Check the code for look-alike characters
If Roblox displays an error, compare the code carefully with the card or email. Roblox lists these characters as easy to confuse:
- 0 (zero) and O
- 1 (one) and capital I
- 2 and Z
- 5 and S
- 6 and G or Q
- 8 and B
Try the likely alternatives when re-entering the code. A generic error alone does not establish whether a card is invalid, already redeemed, or unactivated. If the code still fails, Roblox directs users to contact Support.
#1 Best Overall
- Redemption: Online only. Robux cards can only be redeemed in a browser at Roblox.com/redeem. They cannot be redeemed in the Roblox mobile app or any video game console.
- Roblox is an immersive platform for connection and communication. Every day, millions of people come to Roblox to create, play, work, learn, and connect with each other in experiences built by our global community of creators.
- Get more with every Roblox Gift Card! From now on, when you redeem a Roblox gift card, you get up to 25% more Robux. Perfect for gaming, creating, and exploring- more Robux means more possibilities!
- Deck out your avatar and unlock additional perks in your favorite experiences when you use Roblox Gift Cards to purchase Robux (Roblox's virtual currency).
- Each gift card grants a free virtual item upon redemption.
Check Roblox Credit if redemption may have worked
Gift-card value is stored as Roblox Credit. Check the account you used to redeem the card in a browser, either on the gift-card redemption page or under Billing Settings. Roblox Credit is not available in Roblox apps, so an absent in-app balance does not by itself show that redemption failed. See Roblox Support: Managing and spending your Roblox Credit.
Amazon and Party Packs gift cards are an exception: Roblox says their value can be redeemed for Robux only, not Roblox Credit. Roblox also says its codes can be redeemed worldwide, with the value automatically converted to the account’s local currency. If you have several cards, redeem them one at a time.
