A May 2025 post on the VRChat Ask Forum proposed “The Virtual Vogue Awards,” focused on avatar fashion, styling, and digital creativity. The post invited feedback on a project under development. It does not show that an operating awards program exists, and it is not connected to VRCA.

The AIXR VR Awards
A June 21, 2025 TechAnnouncer article linked the topic to the AIXR VR Awards and a VRChat-hosted event. The AIXR VR Awards are a separate program from VRCA. That article also mixed in speculative category ideas and unrelated commentary, so it should not be used as a source for category lists, winners, or event rules.

- Identify the organizer. Is it community-run, such as VRCA, or operated by VRChat itself? Look for a named host and an official channel rather than a repost.
- Read the category rules. Confirm which work is eligible, such as avatars, worlds, or streams, and whether self-nominations are allowed.
- Check the nomination and voting dates. Compare them with the organizer’s own announcements, not with secondary articles.
- Confirm the results source. A winner list should come from the organizer’s official page or post. If it does not, treat it as unverified.
- Note the publication date. Community pages and articles can lag behind the actual event status.

If your interest is making the kind of work these awards recognize, VRChat’s official creator site offers documentation and tools for building worlds and avatars. Its Creator Economy overview describes digital listings, including world features, avatar access, and group roles, with the possibility of payouts. These resources explain how creation and monetization work on the platform. They do not describe an award nomination process, a partner program, or any link to VRCA, and no affiliate or referral terms were verified for them.

Many of the people these ceremonies honor create the avatars, worlds, and streams that run on the platform every day. Recognition programs like VRCA highlight that work, but the platform’s own creator documentation remains the most reliable place to learn how to make it.
