Where to find the Claw Talisman
The community-maintained Eldenpedia item reference places the talisman on a corpse at the top of a Stormveil Castle watchtower. Follow this route from the Rampart Tower Site of Grace:
- Leave through the southern door and climb the spiral stairs to reach the rooftops.
- Use the broken pillar and ladder to reach the watchtower.
- Loot the corpse at the top to collect the Claw Talisman.

What changed in PvP
Bandai Namco’s version 1.09 patch notes, published March 23, 2023, list this under “PvP-exclusive balance adjustments”: “Decreased the effectiveness of the Claw Talisman.” The publisher does not quantify the decrease. The notes also state that these adjustments do not affect single-player or cooperative play, so the documented change is specific to PvP. The patch notes cover PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam: Bandai Namco’s version 1.09 notes.
Bandai Namco’s version 1.05 notes also record a bug fix for the talisman’s effect not applying when jumping with the Starscourge Greatsword held in both hands: Bandai Namco’s version 1.05 notes.
