Oden Damascus has been reported missing after players earned Gold and Platinum, but the Oden-specific reports available are from 2022. They do not confirm that the weapon is currently bugged or establish a reliable workaround. Check your weapon progression, restart the game, and contact Activision support if the camo still appears locked.
Is Oden Damascus currently bugged?
There is no verified current Oden-specific bug status in the official sources reviewed. A June 2022 player report described having Gold and Platinum on Oden without Damascus; the player later said the camo appeared after a match using another weapon. That is a dated, user-generated account—not an official diagnosis or a guaranteed fix. Read the June 2022 Oden report.
Activision introduced the Oden in Call of Duty: Mobile Season 5, Tropical Vision, in May 2022. More recent community posts discuss Damascus or Platinum progression confusion on other weapons, but those reports do not show that Oden has the same problem. What to check before treating it as a bug
- Confirm the exact unlock state. Open Oden’s camo progression screen and check whether Gold is unlocked and the Damascus tile remains locked. Note whether Damascus is also missing on other weapons.
- Review other weapon progression. Check the relevant weapon categories for any Gold progression that may still be incomplete. Community replies often suggest checking the roster, but the available official sources do not provide a definitive current Damascus checklist. Treat this as a diagnostic check, not a confirmed eligibility rule. Community discussion of progression confusion.
Restart COD Mobile, then your device
Activision’s general guidance for an item that should have been earned but is missing is to shut down and reboot the game. It adds that, in some cases, restarting the device may also be needed. This is general missing-item advice, not confirmation of an Oden camo defect. Activision Help Center: missing earned items.

How to report a persistent unlock problem
If you have checked progression and restarted the game but the camo still appears locked, use the Call of Duty: Mobile support page and Activision’s bug-report guidance. Include details that let support understand the account state:
- Your player ID
- Device model and operating system
- Game version and region
- A screenshot of Oden’s camo progression screen
- Which relevant weapon camos you have completed
- Whether you restarted the game or device, and what happened afterward
A match with another weapon was one player’s reported 2022 experience, not an established remedy. Another older anecdote describes a different weapon and does not verify an Oden fix. Avoid unofficial unlock tools, account sharing, or purchases; they are not established solutions to a missing in-game unlock.
