What changed in the July 15 update?
The update notes open by listing improvements to online stability. The gameplay changes and fixes are:

- Linebacker movement: Addressed an issue that made linebackers run slower than intended when defending running plays.
- Blocked kicks: Fixed an issue where a blocked kick would not play out when the kicker was left-footed.
- Snap input: Addressed a rare issue that could occasionally prevent a player from snapping the ball after a specific button combination.
- Reverse Pass plays: Addressed an issue that gave a receiver a speed boost on specific Reverse Pass plays.
- Stiff-arms: Reduced the timing window for “Perfectly Timed” stiff-arms. The notes say a broader balance fix was still being investigated for a future title update.
- Interceptions: Tuned the game to increase the chance of catching interceptions. The notes say additional improvements for catch drops were still under investigation.
Did the update fix the snap glitch?
EA’s forum Community Manager said the recently released update “should help with the ball snapping issue” and directed players to the July 15 update notes. Those notes describe the issue as rare and tied to a specific button combination; they do not identify the combination or claim the problem was eliminated in every situation.
What does the interception change mean?
EA said it increased the catch chance for interceptions. The notes do not provide percentages, sample sizes or before-and-after results, so they do not establish how large the adjustment was or guarantee that interceptions will be caught more often in every situation. Catch drops were a separate area EA said it was investigating for a future update.

What changed in Road To Glory?
For MIKE and CB positions, the update changed the effects of team and user Per Play Grading events in opposite directions:
- Team events: Reduced both positive and negative impacts.
- User events: Increased both positive and negative impacts. Examples in the notes include coverage, interceptions, forcing a fumble and touchdowns.
Is this the July 24 update?
No. EA’s article published July 22 announced a separate update titled “Title Update July 24th,” with its own gameplay and Dynasty, Road To Glory, Ultimate Team and presentation changes. Those later notes are not part of the July 15 update.
