Para evitar interrupciones, activa primero el Gaming Mode o Win Lock de tu teclado, si tiene uno. Para el aviso de Sticky Keys —llamadas Teclas especiales en algunas traducciones de Windows— desactiva su atajo de cinco pulsaciones de Mayús, sin necesidad de deshabilitar la función. Si tu teclado no tiene bloqueo, PowerToys puede desactivar temporalmente la tecla Windows, aunque Microsoft advierte que su Keyboard Manager puede causar problemas en algunos juegos. Ningún método integrado de Windows bloquea de forma general todos estos atajos.
Qué interrumpe el juego y por qué
Son tres problemas distintos. La tecla Windows puede abrir Inicio o activar combinaciones del sistema; Alt+Tab cambia a otra ventana; y pulsar Mayús cinco veces puede mostrar el aviso para activar Sticky Keys. En pantalla completa, el cambio de foco o el cuadro de diálogo puede sacar la partida de primer plano. El resultado exacto depende del juego y de si se ejecuta en pantalla completa exclusiva, ventana sin bordes o modo ventana.
Sticky Keys es una función de accesibilidad: permite usar combinaciones como Ctrl+S pulsando las teclas en secuencia, en vez de mantenerlas a la vez. El problema durante una partida suele ser el atajo o su aviso, no que la función dañe el juego. Microsoft explica cómo los atajos del sistema pueden interrumpir juegos a pantalla completa.

Si el teclado tiene Gaming Mode, Game Mode o Win Lock, suele ser la opción más sencilla y reversible. Busca una tecla con un candado, un joystick o el logotipo de Windows tachado. Puede funcionar con una pulsación o requerir Fn; no hay una combinación universal. Consulta el manual del modelo exacto y fíjate en si se enciende un indicador.
Antes de jugar, activa el modo y comprueba qué bloquea: algunos teclados solo desactivan la tecla Windows; otros permiten elegir también Alt+Tab o Alt+F4. La disponibilidad depende del modelo y de su software.
En teclados Razer compatibles, Gaming Mode puede configurarse para desactivar la tecla Windows y combinaciones como Alt+Tab y Alt+F4. Abre Razer Synapse, selecciona el teclado, busca la sección Gaming Mode y elige las teclas disponibles para ese dispositivo. Después, activa el modo durante la partida y desactívalo al terminar. Razer documenta el proceso y las opciones de Gaming Mode; no todos sus teclados ofrecen los mismos controles.
Logitech, Corsair, SteelSeries y otros fabricantes también incluyen funciones de juego en algunos modelos, pero no des por sentado que bloquean Alt+Tab. Busca en el manual los términos “Gaming Mode”, “Game Mode”, “Win Lock” o “Disable Windows key”. En portátiles, las teclas Fn y el comportamiento del bloqueo también dependen del fabricante y del modelo.

2. Desactiva el atajo de Sticky Keys
En Windows 11, ve a Inicio > Configuración > Accesibilidad > Teclado y abre la configuración de Sticky Keys o Teclas especiales. Si no necesitas la función, puedes desactivarla. Si sí la usas, déjala activa y desactiva únicamente la opción que permite activarla al pulsar Mayús cinco veces. Así conservas la ayuda de accesibilidad y evitas que se dispare accidentalmente en una partida.
Los nombres exactos pueden variar según el idioma o la compilación de Windows. La guía de accesibilidad de Microsoft sitúa Sticky Keys en Accesibilidad > Teclado y explica su función. Si aparece el aviso mientras juegas, responde a él para desactivarla o cierra el cuadro; luego revisa la configuración del atajo.
3. Sin Win Lock: desactiva la tecla Windows con PowerToys
Microsoft PowerToys incluye Keyboard Manager, que permite reasignar teclas. Puede servir para anular la tecla Windows, pero no es la primera opción para jugar: PowerToys debe seguir ejecutándose, y Microsoft advierte de posibles problemas de rendimiento o compatibilidad con juegos que interceptan el teclado.
- Instala PowerToys desde la fuente oficial y ábrelo.
- Entra en Keyboard Manager y elige Remap a key o Reasignar una tecla.
- Añade la tecla Windows que quieras desactivar y asígnala a Undefined o Sin definir, si esa opción aparece.
- Guarda el cambio y prueba la configuración antes de una partida importante.
- Al terminar, elimina o desactiva la reasignación. También puedes cerrar PowerToys para dejar de aplicarla.
La reasignación solo funciona mientras PowerToys está activo. Además, puede fallar si el juego se ejecuta como administrador y PowerToys no, o entrar en conflicto con otro programa que gestione el teclado. No resuelve Sticky Keys ni es una solución universal para Alt+Tab. Microsoft detalla las funciones y limitaciones de Keyboard Manager, y advierte que no se recomienda usarlo durante juegos por posibles efectos en el rendimiento y la compatibilidad. Algunas combinaciones, como Win+L y Ctrl+Alt+Supr, están reservadas por Windows; PowerToys tampoco funciona en la pantalla de inicio de sesión ni suele poder reasignar Fn, que normalmente se gestiona en el firmware.
4. ¿Se puede bloquear Alt + Tab desde Windows?
Windows no ofrece en su configuración normal un interruptor general para bloquear Alt+Tab durante los juegos. Al ser un atajo del sistema, el bloqueo suele depender del Gaming Mode del teclado o de su software, si el modelo admite esa opción. PowerToys no debe tratarse como un bloqueador universal de combinaciones durante partidas.

Piensa si realmente quieres desactivarlo. Alt+Tab permite consultar una guía, responder un mensaje o cambiar de aplicación; también puede resultar útil si el juego se queda congelado. Si lo bloqueas, conoce la tecla física o el ajuste que desactiva Gaming Mode y ten a mano otra vía para abrir el Administrador de tareas.
Si ya ocurrió: recupera el control
- El juego perdió el foco: prueba Alt+Tab una vez o haz clic en el icono del juego en la barra de tareas. Si la pantalla se queda negra, espera unos segundos. Alt+Enter puede alternar entre ventana y pantalla completa en algunos juegos, pero no en todos.
- Alt+Tab dejó de funcionar: desactiva Gaming Mode y cierra temporalmente el software del teclado. Si usas PowerToys, desactiva Keyboard Manager o sal de PowerToys. Después pulsa y suelta ambas teclas Alt por si una quedó atascada y prueba el teclado en el escritorio.
- Sticky Keys se activó: responde al aviso para desactivarla si aparece. Revisa Accesibilidad > Teclado y desactiva el atajo de cinco pulsaciones si no quieres que vuelva a mostrarse. Comprueba que Mayús funciona con normalidad; no hace falta asumir que el juego está dañado.
- Siguen bloqueadas las teclas: desactiva el modo desde la tecla física o el software del fabricante, cierra PowerToys y vuelve a conectar el teclado USB. Si el juego no responde y necesitas cerrarlo, usa Ctrl+Mayús+Esc para abrir el Administrador de tareas y fuerza el cierre solo como último recurso.

Antes de empezar una partida
- Activa el modo de juego del teclado y confirma qué teclas deshabilita.
- Prueba la tecla Windows y Alt+Tab antes de una partida importante.
- Configura Sticky Keys según tus necesidades: desactiva solo el atajo si quieres conservar la función.
- Si PowerToys causa problemas, desactiva Keyboard Manager para jugar.
- Asegúrate de saber cómo desactivar el bloqueo y abrir el Administrador de tareas.
Pasar el juego a ventana sin bordes puede hacer más fácil volver a él después de cambiar de aplicación, pero no bloquea atajos ni evita que se pierda el foco. Úsalo como alternativa de comodidad, no como sustituto de Gaming Mode o de la configuración de accesibilidad.
