HotHardware reported a price of $1,049.99 and a stated $1,450 saving versus MSRP; this is historical deal coverage, not confirmation of a price available today. HotHardware’s October 10, 2023 article
What did the 48% Corsair deal cover?
The 48% figure applied to the Ryzen 7 configuration of the CORSAIR Voyager a1600, rather than to every Corsair product in the roundup. HotHardware reported the laptop at $1,049.99 on Amazon during the October 2023 event, with a stated saving of $1,450 versus MSRP. Those figures describe that promotion at that time, not a current price or independently verified market statistic. HotHardware, October 10, 2023
The article described that configuration as having a 16-inch IPS display with 2560×1600 resolution and a 240Hz refresh rate, an AMD Ryzen 7 6800M processor, 16GB of DDR5 memory and a 1TB SSD. These are specifications reported in the 2023 coverage, not a check of a current product listing. HotHardware’s article
What else was in the 2023 roundup?
The Prime Day story included a broad mix of Corsair PCs, components and gaming gear—not just the Voyager laptop. Its listed products included a Ryzen 9 Voyager a1600 configuration, Vengeance gaming desktops, the Scimitar RGB Elite mouse, Elgato Facecam, Corsair cases, HS70 Pro and VOID RGB Elite wireless headsets, K70 keyboards, the M65 mouse, Xeneon monitors, an HX1000i power supply and an iCUE H115i liquid cooler. Any prices or savings attached to those products in the story were specific to the October 2023 event. HotHardware, October 10, 2023

The Scimitar RGB Elite mouse
The roundup singled out the Scimitar RGB Elite for MOBA and MMO play. HotHardware reported 17 programmable buttons, including a repositionable side panel with 12 buttons, and an 18,000 DPI sensor. Its author, Paul Lilly, wrote: “This one is built for MOBA and MMO gaming, as evidenced by the wealth of left-side thumb buttons.” That describes the mouse’s button layout; whether it suits you depends on your game, grip and comfort. How to judge a Corsair gaming deal
For peripherals, compare the features that affect how you play and how the gear fits your setup, rather than choosing a bundle solely because it is discounted. CORSAIR’s bundle guidance points to switch type, mouse precision, wired or wireless configuration, desk space and RGB/iCUE preferences. CORSAIR gaming-bundle guidance
- Keyboard: Check the switch type and whether its feel and layout suit your games and everyday use.
- Mouse: Consider precision, button layout and whether the controls fit the games you play.
- Connectivity: Decide whether wired or wireless is the better fit for your setup.
- Desk fit: Make sure the included devices and mousepad suit your available space.
- Software and lighting: Consider whether RGB effects and iCUE controls matter to you.
Before relying on any advertised saving, confirm the offer’s date, your country, stock status, product exclusions and final checkout price. For a reference price or saving claim, check what price the seller is comparing against and whether the stated promotion actually applies to the configuration you intend to buy.
